Elegantly strong and seductive
Fantastic smell. Manly, not too pushy and noble. Smells even more elegant and one number stronger than the eu de perfume or the normal invictus. A successful further development of this fragrance. Absolutely to recommend a maximum of 2 sprayers are sufficient for 6-10 hours

Different notes but almost the same juice and "intensity"
Invictus for me has always been placed in the border line of like/dislike. I recognise that for some people (mainly women) it's a very appealing fragrance. Invictus Acqua has been a disappointment for me and never really grabbed my attention, no matter what version I tried.
With the launching of Invictus Intense I decided to give it a shot, blind buying it some months ago, hopping for a more intense scent and better performance. The different set of notes convinced me that Intense should be a better invictus.
The fragrance is more linear than the original and there is a remarquable boozy note of Whisky (or malt). The ambergris is stronger here as well.Unexpectedly (for me) this fragrance scent is VERY similar to the original. The longevity seems to be a bit better, but the sillage and projection remain the same. All in all, with no price increase, this seems to be a better choice than the original Invictus, although its sweetness and synthetic feal remains unchanged.
Unfortunately the tacky bottle remains the same, and Paco Rabanne still seems to defy Armaf in the worst flask design award. Scentwise I really consider this fragrance more like a reformulation of the original than a new and different fragrance.
How does it cope with ratings?
Scent Opening:.........7,0
Scent Drydown:........7.0
Uniqueness:..............8.5 (typical PR Invictus DNA. The huge amount of clones it's not Paco Rabanne's fault)
Wearability:...............7.5 (Spring, Summer and hot Fall days)
Versatility:.................8.0 (at leisure by yourself, casualal occasions, gym, seaside)
Compliments:...........9.0 (ladies seem to love it a lot)
Quality:......................8.0 (above average quality ingredients but the synthetic feeling is too obvious)
Presentation:............5.0 (no comments)
Price:..........................6.5 (€50,00 - 100 ml); some clones are very good and cost less than half the Invictus Intense price. Example: King of Seduction Absolute by Antonio Banderas, costed me €5.00 on a sale.
Overall rating: 7.32/10.0
between 7 and 8 =above average;
between 8 and 9 = recommended;
bigger than 9 = don't miss it;
Only a couple of considerations. If you like the Invictus scent (not my case) the Intense version seems to be a better buy than the original. As a plus of my (very personal) analysis I can only praise the compliments this fragrance attracts.
Recommended? Only if you are familiar with, and like the Invictus scent.
Blind buy worthy? No! Do try it before you buy it.

Invictus de Nocte
Last November I went to the perfumery to buy an Invictus. To be honest, I have always been involved with fragrances, but only since last year have I had this hobby. I had gotten 100 ml for 50€ and was happy, but at home I saw that the bottle looked completely different (actually a bad buy) :)
The bottle was very handy and with dark glass. I sprayed something on myself and was greeted by a sweet spice but also alcohol-like smell. The scent seemed smokier and more mature than the normal Invictus. Later I also learned that this alcohol touch came through the whiskey liqueur, which is not listed here in the scents.
With time, this Invictus becomes more bitter and spicy, thus quite different from its brothers and sisters. This dark Invictus is rather something for the Ü25/30 men. It fits to casual evening events, suitable in autumn/winter.

I find Invictus Intense inappropriate... Invictus de Nocte would be more appropriate

Sweet but boozy.
This is a very sweet, woody aquatic with a hint of booze.
Same Invictus DNA...just boozy and a bit woodier.
Last all work day projects for a good hour(more if you're active).
So this would be a nice close encounter(Dates, cuddling, etc) scent.
Plus it last about 8 hours easy...
Overall great frag to have on you during the spring and summer.
I used six sprays...both wrist, back & front of my neck, chest and front of my shirt.

Will I buy this again?...Yes(If i can get it at the same price i got it at).

What's the strength of this? EDT

Am i willing to trade this fragrance? Yes.

Should You Skip It, Sample It First or Blind Buy It? I say it's Blind Buy worthy.

Bling buy worthy: if you love a sweet aquatic fragrance, that will make you shine during the spring & summer months.

Sample it for any fragrance store first.

Skip it:
If you don't like any of the other Invictus, Hawas By Rasasi, Wanted By Azzaro, King of Seduction Absolute By Antonio Banderas, Aura By Armaf, Rixos By Armaf, Essential Masculino Exclusivo Natura, Esquenta Natura, Psicodelic Man Pacha Ibiza...

Can you use it as a unisex scent? No.

Is it the old, new formulation? New

I decided last year to buy an Invictus bottle and chose this one. It is probably the most boring perfume I have. Too sweet and synthetic.+3

I like this version better than the original. Fresh, sweet and resinous like a good blue fragrance should be. A natural ladies pleaser.+3

I pity the tacky bottle but the juice is great. Now know that "my" Invictus twist must have more wood & amber instead of being more Acqua.+3
