Opium for the undead people
"Vampyre's Romance" is a pretty simple, aggressive, violent patchouli smash that fits its Nosferatu theme well and takes few prisoners.
A Lost Boy with a conscience. Fright Night gets a thoroughly sensual asntrich here. Between approaching darkness and Bram Stoker, between opium den and pool of blood, between family crypt and romanticized diaries. Longing meets sex. A nightshade from hippies to goths, from glitter to bat-man. Addiction and migraines are here for my head, my nose, hanky-panky at great length. Let the right one in. Or the wrong one - but then you need enough crosses, garlic and krautrock. A juicy cherry on the cake of virgin flesh.
