It was brewed by a faun....
...he's so mossy and woody-floral. A "magnet" for me as a chypre fan. Already the "Angeruch" is quite typical for his time, because the smell begins with a lot of citrus (I suppose bergamot and neroli) and a good portion of galbanum, which makes "Magnetique" appear green.
Then flowers appear, probably rose, garden or cloves, jasmine or ylang ylang and some more "secrets" which I cannot (yet) identify.
This lasts quite a while, while a very mossy "undertone" cheats its way in, which really has it in it. REAL EICHENMOOS, quite treacherously recognizable by its "medieval fairy-tale-like constant intimacy". Vetyver and Patchouli are also part of the game and make the "reason" difficult to fathom deep and mysterious.
And because a faun retreats into the shady realms in the midday heat, he has added something mystical dark to the scent, which conveys a pleasant impression.
It's like dozing in a hammock between two big trees. And receive the greeting pleasantly cool wind.
Hardly any other "perfume group" fascinates me as much as "Chypres".
And this one is once again one of the hardly existing "genre" of old and powerful representatives of this genre.
