Unlike other MDCIs, this olfactory barber is completely lost... Because it's not particularly unisex? Because he came too late/after their hype? Because it can seem very dated? Because it's not a good fragrance? At least the latter I can completely rule out (for me) - I love this "Moroccan barber"!
"Le Barbier de Tanger" is a streamlined barbershop luxury piece. Soapy, but never powdery. Pithy, but never too harsh. Masculine, but never arrogant. Classic, but never dated. Somewhere between "Nightflight" and "Lacoste Original" in still a good bit of higher value. Fruity, fresh, clean. Green too, very much so. But anything but interchangeable or familiar. Barbershop hardly goes better in my opinion. Past interpreted future-proof. An exquisite MDCI, which no man of the world should leave left. At least once test. The thing gives chest hair of gold - or trims this just incredibly sexy!
Flacon: simplest noble class
Sillage: not totally skin-deep, but certainly not a beast
Durability: high-quality, but also not much longer than 7 hours
Verdict: one of the sleekest (and unfortunately most expensive) barbershop scents ever. I can hardly knock a price off this steely wet shave. Green and with perfect contours.
