My absolute favourite from PdN
To me, Patricia de Nicolai is a kind of "überexpert"-perfumer, I like most of her work and I love "Sacrebleu". This perfume is powerful, when you spray it on, the initial in-your-face whiff of mandarin, carnation and cinnamon comes as a surprise. Then softer notes waft in: carnation, patchouli, tonka bean, sandalwood. The clove-spicy carnation can be felt all the time. You don't get many flowers from the heart of this great perfume, but there is a touch of mysterious incense combined with a certain warmth, a rich, dark depth. This creation is totally unique (nothing else smells like it) and feels luxurious and sophisticated. Probably not that easy to slip into at first whiff, but extremely pleasurable to wear, sublime after one hour, with an addictive warmth that lingers on and on.
