Sweet adult companion
I couldn't resist going blind for this one on a retail price that made me feel it was more of a gift than of an acquirement. I was very curious over the listed sesame seed reference in Pascal Morabito's official webpage and though I can't feel it here, I'm really happy with this perfume.
The first blast reminds me of Dolcelisir's boozy beginning. Soon after it settles to a spicy and creamy blend in which coumarin, tonka and tobacco are the outstanding notes followed by orchid flower, vanilla and cinnamon which is kept along all the evolution of the composition. The drydown is the sweetest phase of the perfume and has a very retro oriental twist to it, so I see those who love Coco Chanel, Nuits Indiennes by Scherrer or Givenchy's Organza Indecence (all of which could be distance siblings of this perfume without the fruity notes in them) loving Fauve the Nagada too.
The previous description and listed notes might make you think this is a thick and intrusive scent. It is not. I wouldn't say either it is short lived, it is an intimate, discrete, warm and cozy winter companion. The sillage is short and longevity is moderate and better on skin than on clothes, this one needs to warm up to give its best side.
My only complaint is the bottle's lid doesn't really fit properly, which gets wrong along with my OCD tendency to perfect order.
