Interesting Facts
Some sources state 1870 as the release date of this perfume. However, according to other sources, Hammam Bouquet from 1872 counts as the first perfume by Penhaligon's. By 1870, William Henry Penhaligon had opened his business in London where he supplied perfumes. It is not unlikely that also a lavender water could be purchased from him.
