Delicious jasmine tea fragrance.
The jasmine in this evokes not the flower so much as the green leaves used to make jasmine tea, with a lot of brown sugar! If you make yourself a pot of jasmine green tea and add honey or sugar it will smell exactly like this. I bought 45 ml of this off Ebay and didn’t realise it would be a nice addition to my collection as my only other jasmine fragrance is Estee Lauder Beyond Paradise which I have 2 bottles of. I bought another backup bottle of this but I may want to use this sparingly given that this is discontinued. Phenomenal performance for PH with great longevity and silllage. I actually think this is a great fragrance for chilly autumn nights, imagining yourself brewing a pot of tea. This has a slightly vintage feel but I love it. Very gorgeous and well-put together fragrance that feels special.

Who's inviting me to tea?
Hello you fragrance fanatics! It is once again time to press your Glubschauugen to the monitor or screen (boah, must leave an imprint on the screen... :D) and read my latest fragrance report :))

It's all about the brand Penhaligon's today, who I'm sure many are familiar with. However, the Equinox Bloom fragrance from it could possibly be a little less known. Equinox, hmm... I only know Equinox as an (older) video game, but I'm sure few people will think of that, since you're not nerds like me, argh! :D But Equinox means equinox, which is the equinox, where the day is as long as the night and which only happens twice a year (beginning of spring and beginning of fall)... but also few of you will think of that, since you're not nerds like me, mu ha ha ha :D

He he, okay, so Equinox Bloom is supposed to be dedicated to a very typical, English tradition, anyway: Afternoon Tea. Which hopefully you'll be invited to and where, besides the tea, a beautifully decorated room (wrapped in lovely, floral scents), but most importantly lots of yummy things like cupcakes etc. await you, hmm :)

So maybe we can also assume that the scent could be sweet/gourmand as well as floral, but we'll find out for sure in a minute!

The fragrance:
I smell at the beginning of many floral notes as well as floral water, so I mean this scent of water in the flower pots of florists, which has taken from many flowers just a floral note, which then smells just flowery and tart and this scent floats everywhere in the air, if you just enter a flower shop. Besides, there are also sweetish-gourmandige notes, although still very light in their charisma, but they are there as expected.
The fragrance becomes quite tart in the middle part, but also quite sweet. Almost like sitting in a room eating cake and being surrounded by flowers like lavender.
Later, both the tart and gourmand scents become more intense, while the background becomes soft and almost creamy.
Towards the base, the scent becomes a bit more opulent, this could be due to both the sugar and the florals, which now smell more intense and also slightly sultry. I actually do not like it when a fragrance starts to get stuffy, but here it is not so strong, so that the overall impression is still quite good with me. It could also be that the scent just radiates nicer due to benzoin, as this is quite a nice and soft scent. So is the base of the fragrance, so there are hardly any changes to it towards the end and it also doesn't get stuffier as I feared, no it stays nice and floral. A total somewhat unimpressive, but still quite nice fragrance.

The sillage and the durability:
The sillage is okay, you will be able to smell the scent well for a while in my opinion without filling the room with it right away. The shelf life was also okay, about six hours is quite alright I think.

The bottle:
The bottle has the familiar cylindrical shape of all Penhaligon's bottles, where as usual you can see an elaborate label on the front, in this case with floral patterns. The lid is cylindrical and chrome on the lower side while it is spherical and slightly milky on the top. And as usual, the lid has a silk bow on it as a trademark, which is pink here. A very beautiful bottle, as always.

Conclusion:
Equinox Bloom is for me personally a fragrance that is not now one of my favorites among Penhaligon's, but it is not bad and especially for most ladies possibly worth a look.

Due to its gourmandigen charisma I would classify the fragrance in the autumn and winter and recommend it mainly for going out or for the evening, although this fragrance is actually quite an all-rounder on cold days, which you could also use daily, for example at work, if you do not spray yourself from top to bottom properly.

There is actually nothing more to say about the fragrance. Therefore, I babble no further rum and yes, thanks for reading and until next time, have a nice evening :)

Equinoxes flowers
Welcome, my dear perfume friends, to my 17th perfume advent calendar door. Today I would like to introduce you to a more unknown fragrance with a mysterious name: Equinox Bloom.

Equinox, meaning equinox or equinox (from Latin aequus 'equal' and nox 'night'), refers to the days in the year when the day is the same length as the night. In our latitudes this is twice in the year the case: on 20.March as well as on 23.September (+/- 1) Literally translated, Equinox Bloom also means as much as equinox flower. So a flower that is the same day and night, neither at dusk nor in the rain closes to protect their delicate reproductive organs. However, this only makes sense if it is not pollinated by nocturnal insects. The queen of the night, on the other hand, a cactus plant, opens its flowers toward night.

A floral fragrance we have here in any case. First, one perceives fruity orange blossom, mixed with a very distinctive cream note. Herbaceous violet leaf stirs, provides the necessary friction, closely followed by lush white flowers with a slight tendency to sticky, indolic. This is necessary to keep the fragrance from seeming too pleasing or even too gentle. Slowly the waves smooth out and the fragrance fades out harmoniously over a brown sugared base. As a real sillage monster, 1-2 sprays are enough for me here, which I can smell clearly until the next day.

Equinox Bloom is truly a fragrance that I had to approach slowly. Bought blind because I thought the bottle with old pink bow and the wild, colorful artwork of the packaging was so beautiful. At the first test, it was a warm early summer day, I fell straight from the Latschen, what a Wuchtbrumme! A real sillage monster! Sticky florality and that only with one spray! Granted, the creamy note was something quite new to my nose, but all the lush rest, I had assotiazions of Indian curries in my head and nose. The sultriness of the day potentiated the sultriness of the fragrance into the unbearable for me. So I put the bottle in the cabinet and took it out again in winter. And yes, suddenly it clicked and I smelled the full beauty of this very special flower gourmand, which needs the cold of winter as a counterbalance.

Since then I enjoy this nose flatterer, but wear it only for me in the evening to snuggle up when I feel like something not too pleasing.

Thank you for reading,

Your Flaconesse

A mystery!
This is a fragrance that cannot and should not be easily divided and put in a drawer!
Yeah, he's flowery and certainly gourmand in a way But: It's also herbaceous and spicy.
For me, it is a very specific scent.
No perfume is comparable or similar.
I don't even know if it works that way for everyone, because soo special I myself find this perfume so indescribably uniquely beautiful on some days and on the other hand not at all wearable every day, because it is so and also too special.
It is also a magical scent, a transposing perfume of feelings, moods and fluctuations of feelings, depending on skin type, human type, constitution and emotion, - fabulous and special.
Sometimes I find it unbearably difficult and also repulsively bitter, annoying and medically herbaceous bitter and the other days as lovingly warming, lovely, comforting, giving, clarifying and sweetish.
From beginning to end and also sometimes a mystery smell and this now for 2 years.
A riddle!
