Fierce matriarch

Good manners and appearances. But heart history is never far away. Arranged weddings can be spoiled by a love story.

Countess Dorothea reveals family secrets, she maintains the label at all costs. She has a legendary memory and does not forgive anything. Although lively, his mind is not open and even less with the latest family events.

She holds her revenge with this fragrance with impeccable, refined and reassuring manners. It is comforting like a glass of sherry or a cup of black tea. It is also refreshing, red ginger and cinnamon oil has something to do with it and adds a charming bite to its peremptory tone.

A cunning, dominating woman, as we see many in novel characters or in real life. She is skillful and discreet. She hypnotizes and loves soft and cozy interiors, such as vanilla and cashmere wood.
But beware of deception, you should not trust it because both are misleading. Everything can be held against the one she has in front.

Angelita sees it this way :)

fine kitchen magic, not at all merciless
A little bit I was afraid: what would expect me at this announcement?
"The Ruthless Countess Dorothea": in my mind's eye I saw a picture of a stern looking, loud woman in riding boots, a pack of hunting dogs in tow.
The scent pyramid promised something else; so I gathered my courage and sprayed:
At first timidly, then a little more generously.
How would you and I correspond?

It immediately became apparent that I was on a completely wrong track: my performance was quickly banished to a corner of the large airy Hall of Fragrances.
I met a friendly well rounded woman with a flowered apron, surrounded by the most delicious aromas.
She led me into a cosy kitchen and I followed a trail of fresh bergamot, spicy red ginger (my nose was tingling) and lots of cuddly-warm cinnamon: a mixture that surrounded me in an inviting way.
Next I hit a trace of beeswax; also a symbol of cultivated domesticity.
For me beeswax does not only mean fragrant and cosy candlelight, but also an equally good furniture polish, the application of which leaves behind contentedly shiny, richly lolling wooden surfaces. Another factor of homeliness.
And lo and behold: I also found clary sage; harmoniously leaning against the hitherto existing scent tissue and as a so-called "bee pasture" so well suited to the beeswax nuance.
This "merciless" Countess Dorothea led me into a world of well-being in which, of course, a cup of spicy mate tea is a must.
This surprisingly sympathetic "kitchen aroma" is rounded off with this.
Powdery and gentle, cashmeran blends in with the idyllic picture and invites you to linger with its scent and aroma friends who have been present up to now.
And of course, where ginger, cinnamon and perhaps even a touch of aniseed are gathered, the sensual, creamy warmth of vanilla is not missing.
In this completely balanced fragrance moment Countess Dorothea pours us a glass of sherry; this noble drink shines golden in the glass.
But this friendly gesture also represents the crowning finale of the visit to the not so merciless countess: a polite farewell!

Let's leave "The Ruthless Countess Dorothea" to her fragrant cuisine and her peculiarities.
Maybe she will invite us again soon for a fragrant cup of tea with freshly baked ginger cookies. Who knows?

First of all, for a pleasant duration, I am enveloped in a warm, harmonious and sensual scent of spices and herbs and a memory of a glass of sherry As often I also find this creation of Penhalion's fragrances quite entertaining.
They draw a loving picture of English country life with many small facets and unexpected scent developments.

Perhaps the upcoming Christmas baking is the best occasion to surround yourself with Countess Dorothea. In any case, she fits in easily with all the expected flavours.
"The Ruthless Countess Dorothea" is a lovely scented lady, who you may like but you don't have to like her!

The nefarious Dorothea
Dorothea smells of ginger biscuits, cinnamon stars (Earl Grey without tea) and vanilla croissants with sherry. How did this slightly fat matron get the reputation of a nefarious countess? (Cruel countess sounds much better.) She has introduced the so-called biscuit tax and the poor inhabitants of her county have to bake biscuits day in, day out. Woe betide him who has no tasty cookie to show for his cookie collectors. (Even the official website writes: "Revenge is better than biscuits.") Certainly there is already a Robin Salad who will eventually put an end to their rule (with "Cucumber").

But I like to be invited by Doro for tea (sherry), I love cookies too.

The Ruthless Countess Dorothea starts briefly with bergamot, then she becomes very ginger-heavy. I love ginger, that's why I like it. The heart note passed me by unnoticed. The base with the vanilla croissants I found again very beautiful. I like cashmeran.

Sillage is moderate at 30°C. In winter The Ruthless Countess Dorothea will certainly hold better than today. The perfume is more suitable for the colder months of the year, even if I don't find it annoying now. You may also be able to wear it as a man, but because of its sweet base it is more suitable for women. Everybody knows what they like and don't like anyway, I'm not talking you into it. The Ruthless Countess Dorothea will be a beautiful companion at work, in the evening and also for going out. As far as possible sports are concerned, I can only think of Wettbacken, perhaps also dwarf bread or tea bag throwing.
