Granny Smith echo
Apple - for my sake. Pickled peach also fits halfway, canned pineapple pretty well. Even a contribution of red berries is imaginable and what else. Free choice! Therefore I suspect that behind the fruity, blushing start of 'Red' there is of course a general laboratory fruit. A creamy swab softens the acidity. The heroic Schinus molle (i.e. pink pepper) spice plant is limited to a listlessly sharpening addition at the front without the participation of special flavours.

The most spectacular thing in the following hours is perhaps the gradual shift in the search for you-what-from-fruit towards something that could in fact be called proximity to apple. To be on the safe side, the perfumer tracks it on two tracks: One points in the direction of, say, Granny Smith, the other brings the sour apple rings of Haribo into play (as already aptly diagnosed by Ergo). The result is an acceptable refreshment for all those who, in return, are willing to compromise on flavour variety or refinement. Light artificial wood supports from below, but remains discreet, which should not be concealed as a further advantage in the context.

The stability continues insofar as the basic products (apart from chemistry I can't feel anything else from the list) also hardly develop their own ambitions, but seem to strive to keep our Granny Smith echo alive as long as possible by gentle relining and cremation. The fruity and sour part shows good stamina and actually smells more like apple in the afternoon than ever before! The price is to be paid in the form of an accompaniment sometimes referred to by some perfumas/os as a "hairspray note".

Conclusion: Reminds me in style of 'Wanted' by Azzaro with his penetrant-stable Also-ob pineapple. In the end I found it to be quite o.k., it just offered persevering, reliable freshness on the level of perhaps an acceptable company canteen. But I don't need any free-spirited fuss around it for such things, as Mr. Wilhelm gives his Elaboraten to take with him on his way. Consequently, I find the price of 95 francs for about 50ml for the bid overdrawn. Therefore the half point deduction compared to the mentioned canned food.

I thank Garcon for the rehearsal.

Want to buy apple???
"Red" by Perfume.Sucks doesn't miss the point - his color hits the mark. It is therefore a good fragrance but not by a long shot... rather on a level with many, admittedly successful mainstream scents. Claim: zero. Courage: zero. Art: zero. Mass taste: 90!

Smells like a knocker from Berentzen or Shishatabak double apple - summery, spontaneous, flirty. But too "in your face!" for me, as you might say today. More penetrating than noble, more shrill than with a beautiful voice. "Red" smells like the matching programme of the same name on TV - intrusive, annoying, loud - and embodies an amazing amount of what goes wrong in the current world view or society. A superficial and supercooled Poser playing cool and failing. The bad side of synthetic fragrances. For 95 Swiss francs one would expect more, and rightly so. Much more.

Bottle: red writing nothing behind
Sillage: quite a firecracker... in contrast to some other perfumes.Sucks
Shelf life: slightly longer than the fruity bosses and lacostes of the world... 7 hours.

Conclusion: a sugary apple - bright red, pretty cheap and like a cheeky middle finger in the face... that can Perfume.Sucks better and above all more creative! Apple sauce!

Ice dragons and hangovers
This is the second perfume.sucks fragrance I'm allowed to try. The first one was quite nice, I hope this one smells good, too. The scent here is called "Red", which, apart from the color, always reminds me of the character Red from the movie "The Convicts", played by Morgan Freeman. He's the one who can get you anything in prison. But woe betide the guards to tell him, then, according to him, there won't even be a sample or a bottling!

Or did he say, "Then there's not even a chewing gum or a shoelace anymore?" ??
Hm, I don't know anymore :DD

Well, I don't know why this scent here is called Red now either. And for impatients who wonder what my title has to do with the scent, I can only tell them: Read on, damn it, you'll find out soon enough :DD
So, enough talking, first to the scent!

The fragrance:
The fragrance begins slightly sweet and spicy at the same time. I briefly smell an amber-like sweetness, followed by pepper and herbaceous green notes. But the bergamot also flashes up briefly, but disappears quickly and is replaced by a fruity apple.
Shortly afterwards, the scent becomes slightly woody, which goes well with the spicy sweet scents. This fragrance here also has a fragrance note that is a little reminiscent of the synthetic, sweet fragrances from mainstream fragrances, but this synthetic is not bad here, so the fragrance does not necessarily smell like one of these highly synthetic, chemical fragrances. Because you know that synthetic scents don't always have to be bad.
Soo... what is Hivernal anyway? According to the description, it should give a scent a cold or cool, almost icy character. If you think about it more closely and have a little imagination, you might actually find the scent here, although the cooling effect would probably have been stronger without the pepper note.
By the way, Hivernal is also made of an ice dragon from the Dragon Age video game series... but that's just by the way :D
And so the fragrance remains, losing this slightly cool feeling over time, since the fragrance is spicy. Later, you can still smell slightly sweet, spicy notes with a woody base.

The Sillage and the shelf life:
The charisma of this fragrance here is noticeably stronger than the first fragrance I tested (Yellow), so it can be smelled from close up.
The shelf life is also quite okay. It lasts longer than eight to ten hours.

The bottle:
The bottle is cylindrical and filled with a slightly yellowish scented liquid. You don't see a label, instead the brand name is written in capital letters on the bottle in red. Looks nice, but is also quite simple.

So, this fragrance begins heavier because it is spicier, but it is not really heavy. But also this one smells quite nice, although the sweetness and the spice of the fragrance smell like (better made) synthetic main streamers for a short time. I don't mind that much, because the general part of this fragrance is quite nice, as I said, but still quite unspectacular.

In my opinion, the fragrance is an all-rounder that can be used at any time of the day or year, but is best suited to spring and autumn because it is neither really fresh nor really heavy.

Hivernal... well, hmm, it's always interesting to read what kind of names some fragrances get. Of course I had to think about kites right away, but what the hell, after all, kites are absolutely great animals (which unfortunately don't exist in real *sigh*). Majestic, great, powerful, unpredictable and even cute from time to time. So dragons are the cats of the fantasy worlds :D Hmmm... my cat is white... a snow cat... no an ice cat, he he he he, sometimes, when he comes out of the cold in winter and staps at you with his ice-cold nose, then you could really mistake him for an ice cat, he he he he :)
And yes, that doesn't just sound cute, it IS cute, so melt away! :DD
