Welcome to your holiday
The name of the scent and also the listed scent chords send you directly to the well-deserved beachwalking holiday. But blow cake!
The fragrance opens with a lemon scent brand Klostein. Not fruity, not real, but rather medium-heavy. But then comes the coconut that wants to kidnap you in the South Seas. Suitcases are packed, the sun hat is ready and you board the plane full of anticipation. As soon as you take off, you dream yourself away to the beach and have the smell of salt water in your nose. But there's something wrong with the scent. Besides, the plane is currently landing in Switzerland... What the fuck?

An hour later you sit at Givaudan/ Firmenich and watch the chemists mixing your South Sea magic with thieving joy. They don't even want the umpteenth smell of salt, coconut, tuberose or beach and simply add an olfactory tipping truck of metal, which is then called sea chord or something. And plastic lemons. You're still thinking about beachwalking with a pinch of Sel Marin? But you get Sandflowers and a pinch of AB/Blood Concept garnished with sun cream. After all, sunscreen! And actually the whole thing doesn't smell so bad either.... actually also quite exciting. The more the sun cream penetrates, the more relaxed you will become. Maybe now you can see the sea breeze. You pat the chemists on the back and say goodbye with a smile.

You won't land in the South Seas with this scent, but you can endure it at Lake Lucerne with a glass of Pina Colada

Beautiful marine flowery
I'm not familiar with Phaedon fragrances and I chose this one to start exploring the house, because it's by Pierre Guillaume and I love how this handsome nose manages to get a tropical, escapist twist out of every fragrance he makes.
No exception here, where tropicality is allegedly stated in the name itself, Sable&Soleil (Sand&Sun).
The overall impression is of a soft aromatic with a floral accord. The base of sandalwood and jasmin provide some body for the vanilla-coconut heart.
The coconut effect is similar to Virgin Island Water: watery and transparent instead of gourmand and meaty.
In the dry down the aromatic aspects becomes more and more prominent, revealing a semi-bitter geranium and spice accord.

I sense the notes list isn't true to the ones I smell. I definitely smell an ozonic-salty note, plus the spicy, at times pungent notes, and a herbal vibe that are not listed.
