Pubertal rebellion against the educated middle classes
The perfume already had me by name. Especially in this layout. Like a T-shirt with stupid self-designations or miles of political announcements. The perfume itself was found by my roommate to be "very typically you", sweet-fruity (and much more sweet than fruit) and squeaky on the border of kitsch, but with a - strang? - Note that undermines the whole thing and prevents it from drifting into the realm of poison girls - but which the perfume still heads for. The strange note is apparently difficult to classify, spicy was always a suggestion In general, the perfume seems difficult to classify. It's - as has often been said here - actually much too flat and sweet for a niche, but it's not a classic mainstreamer for young girls. "interesting", "strange" and "sweet" were the terms that were used most often I gave the perfume to my 13-year-old self, after the fact. I should have had it back then, it would have nailed down my whole attitude in terms of smell and flacon design: A girl from one of those annoying left-liberal educated middle-class households with metres of books and records, ecologically conscious wooden toys and piles of newspapers whose contents had to be discussed at breakfast so that everyone could develop their rhetorical skills for democratic discourse. By the way, mothers in such parental homes wear wide linen skirts and drag long swaths of opium behind them.
Girls from such parental homes like to burn out in books and movies (which I loved!) and become a singer or fall in love with some bad boy. They are supposed to be planning their career as an amnesty lawyer, but they might just want to paint their fingers pink-black, tear tear tears in their jeans, ironically label a t-shirt "Superlady" and make out a little at the next party. Above all, they dream of something that can simply be banal and fun, even if the Middle East conflict is still not resolved.
And this fragrance fits in wonderfully with that, because it's fun and can't completely deny its origins despite its poster-like sweetness and lack of depth. The bottle with the name is also given to the parents of the educated citizen, who probably check out the irony of the fact that the daughter has chosen an "individual niche perfume" with such enthusiasm Thank you for this olfactory dig, Pierre Guillaume.

Fair in bed
"Superlady" combines youthful carelessness with show-off/roll aesthetics and nischig high quality. A glazed, red, radiant funfair apple with a white chocolate core, lightly steamed and mannered. To quote the "great" Britney Spears: Not a girl, not yet a woman. Quite a disappointment at a high level. As if Guillaume wants to show the sugar-sweet designer bestsellers how it's done. And it hardly jumps higher, is more elegant, was more finely crafted than this...

Not asian, but certainly not noble. An apple from Maleficent's hands that better be avoided. Not just Disney princesses. Completely overpriced and not at the other Guillaume level. For a target group that never comes into contact with Pierre Guillaume fragrances. Or for rich Russian oligarch daughters who don't care about money and taste. It's okay by itself. But there's got to be so much more. Especially with that whispering name. A carousel ride into ruin.

Flacon: the presentation of this Pierre Guillaume series is exquisite from top to bottom.
Sillage: does not scream, but scratches the door
Durability: (very) solid 7 hours

Conclusion: neither superfreak nor wallflower. "Superlady" is a flowery-synthetic red caramel apple, which can get on your nerves quickly and also doesn't offer too many new or great things, which would qualify it for this noble collection. It's nice to be discreet. Otherwise rather banal and not worth the high price. Cheap meets luxury. Stinginess isn't horny anymore.

Not really lady, but still great
Lovely, lovely scent, very sweet (it's reminiscent of candy floss and fruit candies, candied apple and sweet musk) but with an original underlying Hairspray note that really makes it stand out. Its sweetness might be excessive for many, but I love the effect and I find it very satisfying, especially for colder weather. More than a lady, it reminds me of a feisty teenager, but with a sophisticated twist.

Dark, sweet forest fruits on base of vanilla sugar & magnolia, plus an eye-stinging, tangy hairspray note. Loud, persistent & synthetic.
