cute, but underwhelming.
this is such a cute scent! I'd more easily recommend Soft Eau de Parfum, because it smells so much like this, but if you don't want or like citrus, this is worth considering.
I recall trying the body mist of this, and absolutely hating it. I got something licorice somehow, and could not stand it. I wonder if the memory of the original had an impact on my perception. for the record, I absolutely get licorice in the original scent and I really dislike the scent of licorice. but it's definitely not here. I bought this edt and the body mist at the same time. I thought this would be the cotton candy scent of my dreams, so I wanted to have both items. I was way too eager for being a blind buyer! I let the body mist go, but I've held onto this edt, unopened. but I was tempted to give the scent another try, so here I am.
the berry scent is... not my favorite. definitely super synthetic and largely indistinct. comes across quite sharply, but not enough to 100% cut through the other components here. I'm definitely gonna let this one go, as I don't like the berry in it. I have many fruity scents I love, no need to hold onto one I'm not into. the berry and a heightened sweetness make this different enough from Soft, so there'd be no shame in having both.
overall, this is definitely not the cotton candy scent of my dreams, so that's a shame. but it's also not bad. I can see why people like this.
