Medicinal Lily of the Valley
One of my top Poesie scents. So intoxicating… I can’t stop sniffing my wrist. I want to know exactly what makes up the “ chypre accord”. To me, Daylight+Dark smells like (bear with me) a sanitarium of the early 1900s. Freshly starched sheets, an oddly metallic/medicinal/ elderberry tincture sitting beside a bouquet of white flowers on the bedside table. There is a vague unsettling earthy/sweatiness underlying the whole composition. I wish I had this in EDP format and 10x stronger. Such an eerie old fashioned white floral. Words just can’t describe.
