"Narcisse Noir" in a plain dress
"Khamsin is not a caron scent, but comes close to one: "Narcisse Noir", an old-masterly scent, unfortunately discontinued in the meantime. To my luck and to the comparison I still have a small filling of it.
The impression of "Khamsin" is right for me.
The fresh-citric prelude soon changes into a slightly animal, flowery phase, but with a lot of caution.
No "stallige" Zibet cloud, only a hunch, subtle and yet perceptible.
It is a comparatively "light" fragrance that makes no secret of its slightly bitter flavour.
But also here the most interesting properties are in the detail.
In the course of time the woody and spicy aromas emerge, which have a certain amount of fine spiciness (saffron?).
The similarity to "Narcisse Noir" cannot be denied by this "Khamsin", only this one is "slimmer", somewhat "more simple" and younger. Still no mainstream, also not directly "niche"......
The fluidum of extravagant perfume art without exaggerations characterizes this rather unknown fragrance.
And even the bottle reflects a certain, slightly "old-fashioned-pleasant" elegance.
Durability and Sillage are in the upper range, the "effect" for the mind very positive...at least for my nose.
