Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhh!
Yeah!!!!!
Olééééé!!! (okay, I'm currently playing a game with mexican themes, that really colors you up :D).
Once again, a new Prada fragrance from the series of infusion fragrances has appeared. I can never wait for a new fragrance to appear again, and now a new fragrance has just appeared here, following my perfumo motto ("Kommt Zeit, kommt Duft" :DD)!
With these scents, it's usually the case that basically all of them are good. Well, more or less and of course according to taste, but for me they are very good and very beautiful fragrances, which by the way also prove wonderfully that synthetic fragrances can also be really great.
But there is one thing you should know: Since these fragrances have a certain trademark of almost all Prada fragrances, namely clean and soapy smelling fragrances, the fragrance is not necessarily suitable for all those who don't like this kind of fragrance (and who I like to call dirty sparrows or dirty finches, who seem to run away from any soap like Pig Pen from the Peanuts :D), or will they be less able to start with these fragrances. But of course I would recommend as always to give one of these fragrances a chance and at least sniff it, because it might be worth it.
So, the new scent here now contains mandarins, which makes me especially happy, because I like mandarins in scents (and of course for eating) quite a lot! Well then, I'll sniff off :)
The fragrance:
So, the fragrance begins as indicated with mandarins, oranges and neroli. Actually you don't smell the mandarins immediately, because I was able to perceive the Neroli better at the beginning. It takes a few minutes to finally perceive the mandarins. From these small citrus fruits you can smell the slightly sweet and tasty smelling flesh, while from the oranges you can smell the rather bitter smelling peel.
While the mandarins get a bit stronger with time and later the strongest citrus notes are in the fragrance, the fragrance even appears now and then as if you are drinking a fruity fresh lemonade with tangerine taste (well, at least it reminded me of the Turkish soft drink "yedigün" with tangerine taste... oh google it yourself, basically this is only the Turkish version of the Spanish Miranda drinks, just with tangerine instead of orange).
Also to the base the tangerine remains, which is great, because with most tangerine fragrances the tangerine note evaporates quickly, but here it really remains for some time.
And of course there is the typical Prada note, which makes a fragrance radiate clean and clean with lightly creamy powdery notes. However, this "Prada DNA" starts quite late and is much weaker here than in the other infusion fragrances, but it is still there. All in all a Sillage-like weak, but olfactory (in my opinion) very nice summer scent!
The Sillage and the shelf life:
The Sillage is unfortunately quite small. Although you are used to the infusion scents that most are not particularly strong, the tangerine scent here is one of the weakest in the series, so you should get very close here to smell the scent in others.
The shelf life (for a citric Mandarin scent) is surprisingly okay, because I could smell it on me for about seven hours.
The bottle:
The bottle is rectangular and has slightly rounded edges and corners. On the front you can see the familiar metal Prada plaque. The name of the fragrance is written on a narrow orange label on the side of the flacon, while on the opposite side, on another label, the contents of the fragrance are written. The cylindrical lid is surrounded by Prada's typical imitation leather, which this time is orange in colour. At first sight, it resembles the yellow bottle of Infusion de Mimosa, but is orange as I said here. As always a very beautiful and handy bottle.
Oh, the scent is wonderful! Yes yes, of course this is as always only my opinion, especially since I like mandarin scents and the infusion scents of Prada in general very much, but for me the scent after the slightly disappointing (but nevertheless somewhat beautiful!) Infusion de Mimosa has once again become an extremely great scent from this series, which has only two actual points of criticism: Firstly, the scent is unfortunately quite weak from the Sillage point of view and secondly, strictly speaking the scent is nothing really new, which means you should not expect anything unusual. Whereby the last one is not really a point of criticism for me, as long as the scent smells good.
And it's very well done, smells very nice, and as always that's the main thing. Who likes citric scents especially with a slightly sweet (but still citric) tangerine and orange note, which can also be more creamy, should have a look at this scent here. Even those who like to run away in front of the soap can approach this scent, because this scent has a less pronounced soapy note :D
You still don't want to? Hmm...
Maybe I can encourage everyone to take a closer look at the scent when I write that the scent gives you a very pleasant feeling, as if you were sitting in a cuddly cloud high up in the blue sky eating mandarins. "Yes, yes, you fall down through the clouds", one or the other will say now, but I'm trying to tell an imaginative, beautiful story here, damn it! You know, scattering some fairy dust, twirling cat hair around, building up head cinema, spreading joy, stimulating the imagination and and and and... but no, you still fall through the clouds and land on your bare ass, don't you? (and asks me but only net, why the butt must be bare :DD). Tsss... well, then don't test :D
But you would miss out on a totally great fragrance that would fit totally well into the summer and therefore be wearable even on the really hot days. Because of the weak charisma, however, as so often only during the day or in the spare time well usable, since one will hardly notice it when going out at one. Well... if necessary you can fill it in mini sprayers or TZs and spray it occasionally :)
