Dry wood
In the Arabic language "Abyan" means "clear and distinct", but I didn't know that before ordering the fragrance and reading the label. Rasasi from Dubai is a brand which produces many "okay"-perfumes and some very good ones (but don't all companies do that?). What clearly distinguishes Rasasi from other brands is the excellent value-for-money standard the company offers. If you love strong oriental fragrances in fancy bottles, you should check out this brand.
This said, I have to confess that "Abyan" is just an average blend of spices (cardamon, cinnamon) and dry wood. Apple and rose in the heart are only a faint whisper and the overall impresison is that of a rather generic woody blend which doesn't do much for the wearer apart from leaving him/her with a nondescript fairly pleasant woody trail. But then again, the bottle will grace every bathroom-shelf... - and for the price of 20 Euros/95ml you could do much worse.
