Perfume for the Kitchen
I have owned this perfume for a couple of years (maybe three) and although it does smell nice I don't feel right wearing it.
For me it is a very musky (just a tiny touch soapy) lemon pith and geranium smell which is rather cool and fresh as opposed to warm and cosy. It is a little harsh and reminds me greatly of neat citronella.
Today I decided to see if it would be any good in an oil burner in the kitchen and I think it is a reasonable substitute for the lemon and geranium essential oils I usually use in that room although the muskyness is a bit unusual. Perhaps that is why I feel a little ambivalent towards it as a perfume, because it is more a smell that I associate with a clean kitchen.
I can't see myself using it in the oil burner everyday but a couple of times a week I think I will enjoy it and finally use it up.
Heavy metal cage around a glass bottle with a thick dipper stick attached to the inside of the lid. Mauve jewels are some sort of resin I think.
