This fragrance is not my favourite from the line, the most dominant note being ginger, which becomes the prevailing theme even after the soapy and biting top-notes have vanished. To give more excotic weight to the soapy ginger, there's white tea, softened with cedar and a bit of vetiver. This is a fragrance to be treasured for its bold use of ginger essence which is not subtle and quite tenacious. I guess "Rituals No. 1" is a scent which appeals to men, too, I perceive it as 100% unisex. Wear it all throughout the day, but don't use it at night, it's no seductive charmer and smells distinctly "green and soapy".
