no, so disgustingly attractive but also!
Sometimes "Oh! Fie is the devil's name!" and "Ah, that's beautiful" lie very close together; the boundaries melt away in one direction and at the same time the other!
This may be a purely female way of looking at things; but also my personal experience.

That's how I feel about "Fruity Aoud": what develops in front of my nose fascinates me.
Now, as you know, I also have a soft spot for the fragrances of the Roja brand; it may be that this means I don't always wear the sharpest scent glasses.

My first sensation was also "Oh!", then changed to "Oho!" and then very quickly to "Aaah!": the further this idiosyncratic fragrance animal namely expands!
Overripe, already slightly decaying fruits and flowers determine the first impression.
Uij! Here but someone has forgotten about the fruit!
Especially the already mushy strawberries are very aromatic and smell intense, the raspberries also no longer quite fresh: here I want to be fruit fly!
Roses and violets are also already hanging their heads; their wedding is now really over.
The knowledge of it lets them smell once again especially strong.
The already so delicate orange blossoms stand somewhat shyly next to it; but still give now and then their typical fragrance "mustard" to it.
They do their thing well: I perceive them clearly in the whole "almost-being".
An almost surreal still life under the title "Been Yesterday" arises on my skin.
The astringency of Artemisia and the citrusy glow of fresh (not fermented this time) bergamot and grapefruit aromas still appear in the background.
A familiarly fresh yet, to some noses, a surely questionable blend emerges here:
repulsive and yet enticing!
Light woods and slightly scratchy resins, strong leather and balsamic scents marry extremely interesting. You open the door wide and let in the classics sandalwood, oakmoss and sensual-supportive patchouli. Also incense may not be missing, of course!
They dance a boisterous fragrance dance, which mixes them all cheerfully: Look here!
The noble and precious saffron now no longer wants to stand next to it: he mixes spicy with and also immediately pulls musk and vanilla into the strongly scented circle, in which iris has already joined without being asked!
Lively spirals emerge from all these fragrances: beautiful they are, even if they take some getting used to!
All that turns here in a merry circle, however, is dominated by the strong and expansive steps of Oud/Aoud: in the funny rice dance the fragrance history of "Fruity Aoud" is written!

Thus, this cleverly created fragrance monster leaves deep animalic and very self-confident traces!
Not for public transport or open-plan offices!
But as delightful as long-lasting; however, not by conventional standards.
"Fruity Aoud" is fun; even if I don't know why: the good mood immediately peeks around the corner, beckoning.
I call them to me, spray once again Rojas "Fruity Aoud" and then face what may come, smiling!

Throw fermented fruit at me and enjoy it !
Roja Parfumes is one of the most luxurious perfume brands, which is often criticized and questioned. Sometimes it is the quality of the fragrances that is criticized, sometimes alleged similarities with fragrances that already exist. Brands like Tom Ford's Private Blends have also succumbed to this fate. Well, due to the mass of existing perfumes, it will not be impossible that fragrances will be similar, but everyone has to form his own opinion. Similarities can occur, but sometimes the implementation, harmony, balance and performance is crucial for a fragrance to pay significantly more. The only way to find out is to test it yourself, instead of putting every statement from the forum on the gold scale. In the end, the fragrance must fit to you and appear pleasing to you.
What impressed me is the fascination and dedication with which Roja Dove sings about his fragrances. It's always nice to hear a brand owner who is also the perfumer, because so many exciting impressions can be addressed. Sometimes it's a good idea to watch interviews from the brand and the perfumer, Q&As and stories. A lot of the fascination comes across here, even if some might dismiss it as marketing blah-blah. In the case of Roja Dove, it's interesting to know how he came up with fragrances, what drives him and what story is behind each fragrance. Each of his fragrances has a background and his particular notes that he wants to convey.
Here you can also learn interesting things about pricing. Because on the one hand he states his fragrances with a natural quality (in relation to natural oils) of 80-85%, which is already enormous. On the other hand, he more often mentions the prices of the ingredients that are used. In a Q&A he once compared the quality of the rose oils he uses. While Bulgarian rose is produced in a ton per day, he uses roses in which the quantity produced is about one kilo.

But now I would like to get to the fragrance, because this Fruity Aoud is the first fragrance from the more expensive and intense collection I tested. Of course I already knew the somewhat cheaper perfumes Colognes Enigma and Elysium. Both of them already impressed me very much in their balance and balance, so that I could even give Elysium a 10.0.

The idea of combining fruity notes with the chords of oud sounds exciting. I also have my search for an Oud Wood successor in mind.
While spraying the essence I was already surprised and quite enthusiastic. A mixture of fruitiness, sweetness and slightly sour and fermenting fruit came my way, which can also overstrain you. Above all, you can't escape this scent because the Sillage hits you directly. I can only explain the fermenting note by the oud. When this phase is over, the fragrance develops in such a way that it is fruity and tart with a woodsy undertone. On the skin itself, the fragrance remains in the state of fruity woodiness, while the sillage has more acidic notes. This is also relatively exciting, as it means that different impressions are combined in one fragrance.
I also have to mention the great balance of this fragrance, there are no disturbing notes, the fruitiness is not too sweet but sparkling. Also the woodiness through the oud seems rather light and pleasant on the skin, while the sour winds offer something special. One would simply like to spray the scent in everyday life and it is also wearable in a wide range of temperatures, but it shouldn't be 30 degrees, as the initial sweetness will otherwise kill you. The sourish Sillage helps to bring in some freshness
As soon as five or six hours have passed, it is like a second skin that smells pleasantly and reminds one of high quality apple tea. It is a bit sweetish with fruity apple and a discreet light to medium-woody note
It is extremely durable and remains on the skin for a large part of the day. I didn't come to sniff my arm again and again to enjoy this very pleasant fruitiness. Sadly, the scent seems to be already adjusted, so I have to think about whether I still have to organize something.

A look and test is definitely worthwhile here, as it is a different kind of oud scent, which has already touched me a bit.

Sweet and sour fruity notes (currant, strawberry vanilla) with soft rose and weak oudy note. Sweet, but airy fruitiness.

Sweet but also bitter fresh fruits mixed together with pleasant oud. In my opinion, the best from Tutti Frutti collection.
