Not for me unfortunately
As I made my way through Room 1015's lineup of perfumes, finding them all to be in the range of excellent to simply okay, I'm not sure what I was expecting from Purple Mantra. The perfumer describes it as "an olfactory experience designed to bring the pleasurable feeling of inner calm into your daily life," and to "allow it to amplify the voice of Intuition and quieten everything else."
Unfortunately, I found Purple Mantra to be all too loud and not very calming at all. It's immediately very heavy on the incense, which I think I found to be overwhelming simply because it was directly on my skin and not wafting through the space of an open room. The floral notes come through on the dry-down, but on me they form into what I can only describe as bubble-blowing soap mixed with a dash of myrrh. It didn't take me on the journey it intended to, and instead led me to a headache after an hour of wear. I'll have to try this sprayed into the room, maybe, to have a better experience with it.
