A phantom of the Californian desert
It was probably a desert, in whose scorching expanse Pepe knelt over a hot stone and inhaled cannabis residues. The small spicy magic herbs crackled like a small fire and when he looked up in thought, he was in a cloud of incense sage. Huuii, Pepe sang in a glazed tone and took one deep breath. I am little Morrison, waiting for an Indian phantom.
Soon there were of desert cypress and cedar, the soft crackle of resin bursting, the dance of drying brown needles on the shimmering hot ground. Pepe rubbed his eyes, not knowing, after all, if the veil in the picture, resembling bright incense and smelling of citrus, fennel, grass, and forest, was just a figment of his imagination, a spicy-balsamic mirage.
Got your face in the desert mugwort again? Get out of those potted plants! pepe's roommate exclaimed sullenly. Sometimes he really was a killjoy.
¶¶ The Saguara brand is dedicated entirely to the flora of the California desert. They handcraft their fragrances, all of which pay homage to this barren and pristine landscape.
"Sagebrush" , literally the desert mugwort, is probably something of an olfactory mirage, the eponymous ingredient is not included at all. However, the accord of the resinous-spicy cannabis, the slightly acidic-ethereal-smoky Indian incense sage, as well as cedar and cypress, which here seem more like their dry, spicy needles, creates the deceptively real impression of desert sagebrush in the top and heart notes, elemi increasingly contributes the aforementioned citrusy, fennel-like, grassy-woody incense notes, palo santo provides a balsamic, slightly earthy underpinning. "Sagebrush" projects moderately to skin deep for about six hours.
