I'm sure we're not on a first-name basis..
"Le Temps Perdu" is a hard to describe, slightly animalic and brown forest floor scent. Since even I lack a little the descriptions... and is not that then automatically also a clear strength of the perfume?

Yes, it is. Still, this brambly boar is not a pleasant comrade for my nose. He has a little powdered and stinky I would not call "Le Temps Perdu" now - but good-smelling unfortunately even less. Salle Privée hits you here the discreetly musty bristly bear around the butt that you think you're standing in the middle of the game park. If that's not an animal scent, then I'll eat a beaver across! Why some people still recognize elegance and masculinity here lies on the one hand in the nature of Animalics, probably the most subjective perfume genre of all. Because where stink begins for one, eroticism only begins for the other. And on the other hand at the construction of this part congenial royal tiger. For Salle Privée underpins "Le Temps Perdu" with so much chalky musk and "very dear" ambrette seeds that the thought of expensive skin cream or clean male pits is not far away. Due to the clearly animalic bone structure of this wild boar scent, this might even seem all the more aggressive, pungent, unwearable and unpleasant for some people in the overall picture as a counterpoint. For others, however, this could then again be close to pure sex. For me rather nothing, at best still interesting.

Flacon: Kik or Kö?
Sillage: super striking fragrance, but hardly radiation
Durability: 6 hours

Verdict: a very dull, dark animalic, but with an almost delicate aura. Unusual. Unattractive for me, unfortunately, too. Polarizer

Dull boar muff
Actually, I assumed that Salle Privée does not create an even worse fragrance than Celluloid Heroes, but then they surprised me with Le Temps Perdu. In advance I would like to deny for this candidate already once the designation fragrance - smell meets it at most.

But what is it now, which causes me to clamor so? Le Temps Perdu starts with a good portion of ambergris seeds. So much so, that one could think he consists only of it. In addition to the resulting animalic-leathery accord, notes of grains and seeds join in. I think I can also detect fenugreek here. As it progresses, if you can call it that here as Le Temps Perdu remains quite linear, it becomes drier and musk, some wood and even more animalic join in. So far so good. This composition alone would be an interesting candidate for me in principle, but the interplay of notes presents itself so dull, uncoordinated and unharmonious that you get the feeling of sniffing a wild boar that comes rushing out of the undergrowth at full gallop while crushing a colorful mixture of grains and seeds in its mouth. Also, I would not have thought it possible that I will ever find the high durability and sillage of a perfume as a negative, however, I just do not want to smell like that for a long time and certainly not want anyone to notice.

Salle Privées Le Temps Perdu joins the sad list of failed creations of the house and occupies one of the bottom positions.

10 points!
The brand "Privatgemächer" and her house perfumer Tanja D. continue to surprise me. After a beautiful top note, which slides into a dull base (Kham-Sin) and a horrible start, which saves itself in a dull base (Concorde) comes next a downright loamy linear Kotzbrocken.

The fragrance exhibits a remarkable-brachial performance. He projects unfortunately as penentrant as he persists. Even after 12 hours, it still sticks to the skin like the proverbial (and stick rhyming) Pattex, though the only reason I haven't scrubbed it off su long is that 7 out of 12 hours have been spent sleeping.

In the first 8 hours I can't detect any significant change in the scent. According to Mrs von Spee, it smells like an insecticide from the communist era of Romania. I rather associate a mixture of impregnation spray and the smell of a tin of cultivated mushrooms (III. choice) after opening, which already inflates slightly due to overlaying. After about 9 hours, the whole thing then goes into a herb-strenge and for me not pleasing, but no longer repellent base.

I would not say more about it.

Also the other three fragrances of the brand I will still test, reviews I can promise but no more.

10 points are given for the name, which describes with amazing precision and honesty what the closer examination of this fragrance is.

P.S.: To the person whose click led to this fragrance being listed here as "similar" to Sensual Blend by Urban Scents, a favorite fragrance and brand of mine, I hereby challenge you to a duel at dawn.

Something noble!
First of all I have to say that this fine and noble fragrance lasts incredibly long and really smells great, a men's fragrance that smells very sexy on him but also on ladies but in a very noble and high-quality way. It becomes very soft, body-hugging and has a direction of woody-powdery, a little classic elegant but also with depth. I'm not the absolute fan of Ambroxan but this one is very successful in his composition and looks just as good on a well-groomed man in a tailor-made suit as on a woman in worn jeans and a cool vintage leather jacket. Price is with 190 Euro already in the upper price segment, but I am pleasantly surprised that it lasts so long. I was very aware of him myself and liked this recurring encounter very much. When I wear this fragrance I am almost always addressed - by men and women - it works... always makes me happy! This perfume is as high quality as the matching fashion, no mainstream but one with noblesse and class. Pssst a quite mad sexy-erotic -elegant and classical gift for the dearest one. Never too much but always enough to attract attention in the most pleasant and stylish way
