The forest whisky

"Concorde" was the last fragrance from Salle Privée - and a nice temporary farewell to the minimalist brand.

A soft whisky seducer with mossy cufflinks. Cashmere hangover. Oud lends class darkness, patch its irresistible softness, whisky completely rounded. "CH Men Prive" meets "Eau Sauvage Parfum." Texture-rich, warm, pleasant. Pore-deep high quality. A fuzzy meadow picnic by the glowing cozy fireplace. A famose perfume!

Flacon: beautiful green, lame design
Sillage: voluminous soft
Durability: 8-9 successful hours

Verdict: an unusually soft, green and almost non-alcoholic whisky interpretation with a beautifully woody spirit. Probably my Salle Privée favorite

Sweet one-size-fits-all

Too bad!

Reading the notes actually gave me some anticipation. The composition sounded exciting, corresponded to my preferences and made me want more - but then this.
Beforehand, it should be said that this is not going to be a review. Salle Privées Concorde is certainly not a bad fragrance, but not what you might hope for.

The start makes me a lot of pepper and something indefinable sweet. In the further course joins still the patchouli as a recognizable ingredient - but then it's over for me. The scent retains its sweet trait and shows some woody and subtle balsamic notes towards the end. I would even concede to it becoming a little more tart. But the rest of the scent notes disappear into the sweet-spicy swirl and blend into a very uniform mush.

If we were here in the price segment of typical designer fragrances, the price / performance ratio might have turned out better. At the estimated price, however, I can give none in good conscience a recommendation. Who has some money too much lying around and is looking for a trivial and sweet-spicy fragrance, would be right here - all others, fingers off!

Miséricorde!!!

With the fragrance I tested yesterday, 'Kham-Sin' from the same series, it turned out to be a major annoyance that the progression ended in a cheap, generic, sweet and spicy, mass-produced uniform base.

This fragrance here features the exact same base (just a little louder and more aggressive), except that you happily reach that base like a drowning man reaches the saving shore. Because the real bad thing here is the bizarre opening, which causes a strangulating feeling in the heart area and pressure on the stomach.

The fragrance notes from the pyramid are to be translated as follows:

'Vetiver', 'Patchouli' = In the investigation of illegal burial of toxic waste and rotting household waste in the gravel pit, a sample of excavated earth with grass hubs was taken for the laboratory

'Whisky' = warm Hungarian Zwack Unicum herbal liquor

'Oud, cedarwood, sandalwood, guaiac wood' = truss with dry rot

'Juniper', 'Saffron', 'Pink and Black Pepper', 'Tobacco' = Luca-Ben stirred all the spices from the kitchen shelf as well as the contents of the ashtray into a paste with gin.

With this fragrance really bursts one the hat string and goes one the collar high. He finds buyers in my opinion only because he costs 190 euros ("must be good"). Would you offer him for 1.90 at Aldi, everyone would say: "uäää, smells as high quality as its price" and rather take a watermelon or a few beers for the money.

If the naming 'Concorde' refers to the French word for harmony, it should be taken as a joke. If the plane of the same name is meant, then hopefully from the point of view that this has since been discontinued due to an unacceptable price-performance ratio.

Elegant and noble

what a great smell! The opener is for me definitely dominant young fresh juniper ..no trace of whiskey! The Drydown is wonderfully creamy with vetiver and slightly woody...On my skin wonderful...have worn it in Stuttgart city and have received so many compliments madness! for me this fragrance is very elegant and noble...i smell here definitely not too many ingredients..also restless is this fragrance also not....so for me a noble businessman smells...the fragrance is not too loud without corners or edges...it is a fragrance to enjoy...belongs to my top 3 fragrances
