Leather masterpiece
Salvador For Him by Salvador Dali is a perfume which opens up with dominant herbal and aromatic tones surely given by notes such as tarragon, artemisia and coriander, as i recall, also contains aldehydes and some other notes in the top which i don't notice much, maybe because of the fact that the bottle and batch i have smelled of this perfume are from the early to mid 1990's and aldehydes are easily damaged by oxygen. In the heart there is a floral bouquet of mainly rose, and in the base we've got the most present note of the whole fragrance, an aromatic, amazingly constructed leather which some say is similar to the leather accord of Hermes Bel Ami, and which i also find pretty much similar to the leather in CH Men Privé by Carolina Herrera. There are also several other notes in the base, particularly oakmoss, musk and sweet notes which don't come through pretty much at all, i would say it is a predominant leather perfume with strong woody notes, floral nuances and aromatic / herbal tones to it.
Bottom line: Amazing perfume, i advice getting it if you find a vintage bottle, i don't have smelled the reformulation from 2011 with the lips shaped bottle, however i know it differs heavily from this classic 90's frag.
