Uomo vs. Uomo Signature
The duel... We had to wait two years for it. The first question is, who's gonna compete with who?
On one side the Uomo stands on the other side his little brother the Uomo Signature.
Definitv a classic brother fight (Romulus and Remus sends his regards) . The construction of Uomo and his little brother is quite identical (they are twins). Only the head is different for both. What does that mean?
Uomo simply loves Tiramisu above all else. Where to go against his brother more classic Italian with leather jacket more coffee (with lots of sugar) preferred than desserts.
Both are not figure conscious :)

Short and sweet: If you like the Uomo, you will like the Uomo Signature as well. (I like to wear both in autumn/winter)
H/S is exactly right for both. The fragrance that you carry with you is really complimentary.

P. s. Had grabbed me the Signature (100ml) for 27€ and for this price, this fragrance is definitely a Bang for your buck scent.

Exceeding my expectations
I love it! It is difficult for a flanker to surpass its mother fragrance, but, from time to time, the light is made, and these “rare avis” appear, which surpass everything that is expected of them.

In general, it has the DNA of the mother line, but it shows that they have taken care to mature it, adding, as some colleagues say, a much darker and less sweet base, which makes it more mature and elegant, leaving the Uomo original as something more informal and casual, and this new Uomo Signature as something more formal, but with a rather rogue air, something like ... a young executive dressed and elegant, very formal and polite, but when he comes home and he relax, dress casually and go with friends to have beers ...

At the beginning, citrus fruits are clearly noticed, but they are immediately overshadowed by a sweet blanket of coffee, leather, cinnamon and tonka, an exotic elixir, elegant and sweet, although, somewhat less sweet than its original version, but still a sweet teddy. From here, the aroma develops little, except for a progressive reduction of the initial sweetness and an accentuation of the patchouli in the final drying, but, for the rest, little more change. The sweet notes are very well contained by the leather, by the fresh and dirty nuances of the cardamom and by the balsamic freshness of the cypress, creating a quite harmonious and pleasant set, personally I love it, it is not the perfuming panacea, but it exceeds with its task.

The performance is quite good, staying in your skin 8 or 9 hours without problems, with a fairly noticeable wake in the first hours, then down a bit, and although it is not as flashy as at the beginning, it still feels without problems, so, in this aspect, meets what is expected.

I see it as an aroma of cold and temperate times, and because of its dark, more night-oriented vibe, although, as I always say, this is very subjective and personal, and everyone will use it when they feel like it.

The truth is that I liked it a lot and it surprised me for good, a well-made and necessary flanker on the line, bringing a little more maturity and elegance to the jovial informality of the original Uomo. Your test is highly recommended.

Victories, but do not triumph. Marie von Ebner-Eschenbach
A perfumer who designed Silla bombs like oxygene by Lanvin or the M7 oud absolue, then many Armani fragrances for Coty and for Euroitalia the Blue Dylan, has already achieved quite a lot. He may not be a master of the finest fragrances like Demachy by Dior or LVHM, but Alberto Morillas has been one of the most present mainstream creators for a long time. Many find exactly this mainstream area not worthy enough to look for the really good pearls there, which is unfortunately completely wrong. In the niche area there are many good to very good fragrances. However, there are many which are only found to be good because the price is very high and this is already considered a criterion for quality.
This signature was the second litter with the UOMO logo that the Salvatore Ferragamo Group released. After the extremely successful UOMO, this signature gets by with much less sweetener. He's much more mature and harsher. A typical Fougere he is not yet quite, but the strength comes almost to this fragrance. The strong mandarin with the pepper is strong at the beginning and exactly hit. Many competitors in the same price structure have bergamot in the beginning, this is completely missing here and the mandarin looks absolutely masterly. Few products have such a start because they are usually more fruity or citric. Certain also sweet like its predecessor. it seems the Italian fragrance houses like Ferragamo or Euroitalia bring more and more products which in the beginning again have a dominance like the Versaces and Azzaros twenty years ago. Is the lipstick and the powder slowly going out? with the Italians, in contrast to the French, it seems to be going in this direction.
Cedar is correctly perceived in the middle as it is in the content and results in this strong sillage. After the cinnamon there is not much change in the process, which can be seen as a plus point.
As a lover of dominant and superior fragrances, this signature enters the ring and wins against quite a few who also call themselves strong. For friends of the sweet wimp scents rather no option. That's why this fragrance wins in quite a few disciplines, but it doesn't triumph in any way. He has too much style for this.

An happy scent not for a bitter man
"Uomo" in Italian means man... Well maybe not any man, but a particular kind of man.
The word "uomo" solely employed, stands for a virile man, "un vero maschio alle spalle larghe e gambe muscolose". And the signature of a uomo must not leave any doubts about the man character as a true son of Adam, a lady's favourite by nature. In summary a devoted lover, smelling like dark woods, rough seas, and all that can recall courage and passion.
This aromatic all black Ferragamo Uomo Signature brings us warm spices, leather, coffee, fresh citrus and a balsamic aura that adds a sense of knowledge of life and experience to the previously characterized wearer of this perfume.
With such a simple but powerful name, an elegant black bottle and a scent that justifies all that could be assumed by its presentation, Ferragamo Uomo Signature imposes itself as a "must have" for men and a magnet to attract the women's attention.
In the opening we experience an uplifting floral citrus with honeyed mandarin and rosy pink pepper. It's a smooth sweet entrance that readily accommodates the masculine cedar and the dominant sensuous cinnamon bitter sweetness and the sweet and resinous cardamom. This masculin but sweet, exciting but smooth hors d'oeuvres setting opens wide the doors for the tonka bean heavy bitter sweetness, very well blended with dark roasted coffe, lightly smoked hide and hearthy patchouli.
It's a more interesting and less sweet fragrance than the original Uomo, and I don't know which perfume is really flanking the other. There is a slight resemblance with another Uomo, the Valentino Intense version, but just if you manage to forget the absent powdriness of a lipstick iris.I also got a vibe of Layton, probably due to the mandarine note, the overall sweetness and the green cardamom note.
The fragrance is halfway from a true pyramid development and a linear global scent. It's easy to distinguish the opening notes from the bottom notes, but the heart notes seem to be blended with all the other notes. The drydown is pleasant with a sweet pace ensured by cinnamon and tonka as well the seductive leather and in a lesser degree, the roasted coffee.
The performance is interesting but not overwhelming.
Main characteristic? It's a women head turner!

How can we rate this Uomo Signature?

Opinion about Uomo Signature:
Very well balanced between spiciness and sweetness. It's a natural compliment getter, easily satisfying even very demanding wearers. If you like a very good hot spicy sweet fragrance with very interesting coffee and leather facets, you may have found one of the best. If you loved the previous Ferragamo Uomo, you may love this one even more.
Recommended? Yes.
Blind buy worthy? No! Try it first.

Blind exchange hits
Can't be that this one hasn't gotten a comment yet?! Because I think he really deserves it, I leave a few words about him here...
Uomo Signature was offered to me in exchange for my Spicebomb Extreme. I had never heard of this scent or this house before and was initially undecided whether I should get involved. But the pyramid read as if I could like it, so I thought to myself, "No risk, no fun!".
He arrived and at first I was enthusiastic about the chic bottle.
Black (always delighted), very heavy, this nice curve... I liked it very much.

Scent sprayed on - first second, "Oh, that's good!!!".
Phew. My decision was definitely not completely wrong.
The opening reminded me a bit of Dior Homme Intense the first time, but much less powdery and without that horrible lipstick note that makes me shudder. Then this impression disappears and a delicious woody sweetness spreads.
Cedar and cinnamon play wonderfully together and every time a breath blows around my nose, it elicits a "Mmmmmh...".
So it goes on to the dreamlike base, which in my opinion has a top on it.
This mixture of patchouli, leather and bitter cocoa is easy to kneel down. Or right to the front robbed.
The ecstatic "Mmmmh" from before becomes a defenceless "Oh man!".
It may sound disturbing, but if I could, I'd lick my own throat * laugh*. Sooo delicious!
I heard the original was cuter... so I'm very glad I got into this one. It doesn't have to be sweeter for me.
He's perfect the way he is.
And from a "No risk, no fun" fragrance, became the current second favorite from my collection :)
