Take 2 - or even 3 - 10....
Today once an assessment of a brand new fragrance. There are 4 fragrances in this new series, and I have decided on a trip to the Savane.
I have chosen it specifically because of the promised fragrance pyramid with carrot seeds, iris and sandalwood, because I always find carrot seeds extremely pleasant in perfumes, and iris and sandalwood with me also always find an open ear.
So now to the test, which I saved for the first warmer days of late, since this is probably a summer fragrance, because Savannah = experience rather hotter...
Sprayed on and - Mmmmhhhh, who has opened here the Nimm2 bag? Nimm2 were the Gutis of my childhood, which I always got from my grandpa (of course always a yellow and an orange), so I know the scent so well.
This perfume starts with the special taste of the yellow Nimm2, so rather lemony. The citrus is softened with light iris powder. Within the next 30 minutes, the fragrance evolves with the help of carrot seeds to the orange Nimm2. It's now orangy-soft, with minimal sandal undertones. And then there is no further scent development. It remains a light, soft orange candy.
Now to the big shortcoming of the fragrance - the drop is sucked insanely fast here. Meaning, on top of its lightness, it has about the shelf life it takes two Gutis to suck on.... well, maybe not quite that short, but more than 4 hours, and relatively skin deep, is not in it for me. Even a few more sprays on hair and clothes do not persuade him to stay.
Maybe my olfactory sensation is somewhat oversaturated by all the heavy, sweet winter fragrances, but I can perceive the scent just very light and only very briefly, really intense.
The smell is summery-vibrant-natural - so really nice - but more than the duration of a chill summer evening he does not survive. For the whole day, he needs at least 3 times to put on, and even relatively generous.
In my opinion, Savane di Seta is unisex , and something for warm days.
Personal conclusion: A beautiful fragrance for me, however, I'm not sure if the estimated price (not magateuer but already lifted) for this short fragrance experience is justified.
