Cake with lemon glaze, freshly washed from the washing machine!
Perfect Veil? No, that doesn't mean, as I stupidly thought at first glance, "perfect violet"! Veil is the English term for "veil", so it has more to do with camouflage.

Well, whether you can camouflage yourself with a scent at all or whether you really stand out because of it, is a different matter! I'm sure it depends on the situation. I mean, if I smell like coriander, cardamom and caraway in a rose field despite pink clothes because of camouflage (apart from the fact that in reality I would NEVER scent myself with these scents voluntarily!), it will be just as noticeable as if I stand in the middle of sensitive cats, smell strongly citric fresh and all cattle run away like mad :D

Well, enough bullshit talked. So I'll write my opinion about the smell here before the next World Cup game starts... hmm... now that the German team is outside, maybe one or two people could read this Kommi more :-P

The fragrance:
I smell light vanilla with a little lemon at the beginning. Due to the sweet-powdery vanilla the fragrance together with the lemon looks like a fluffy cake with lemon sugar icing, hmm... so somehow really delicious.
The vanilla gets noticeably weaker in the next minutes and is more and more replaced by musk, which smells nice. And somehow the musk is so clean that the scent actually smells a little like fresh laundry. Maybe you washed the delicious cake in the washing machine... bah... :D
Soo... in the base it still just smells like musk, lemon and vanilla (which by the way gets stronger again in the base while now the musk weakens again) and the fragrance is generally clean and clean. Despite all its simplicity, the fragrance is still quite nice.

The Sillage and the shelf life:
The Sillage is at first mediocre to rather weak. In the beginning one will be able to smell the scent for oneself, later it will be better smellable by others because of the good radiating vanilla, before it becomes weaker again later of course.
The shelf life is okay. Because vanilla can be smelled for a long time, even if the scent should become really weak after a long time. Nevertheless, it can be perceived for eight to ten hours.

The bottle:
The bottle is first of all a typically simple rectangular bottle with a high, chrome-plated and cylindrical lid, just like most niche fragrances have for flacons. However, this one stands out a little by the fact that you can see line patterns on the bottle, which makes the bottle look a little nicer than too simple. So it became quite nice, but nothing more.

Why is it called Perfect Veil now?
Honestly, I have absolutely no idea. With this scent here you don't smell as if you could camouflage yourself with it, if "Veil" stands for camouflage. Because although the scent smells like fresh laundry for a short time, it still smells mostly like cake (and much later only like vanilla), so tasty, so that people, if they perceive this scent, would start looking for the tasty cake or something... :D
... man, I'm talking again for a bullshit here, if I can't think of anything, but I still have to talk something here UNBEDLY... but it's just so hot here, so I can't think right now!!!!! :DD

Anyway, the scent has become a leisure scent for me, which could possibly also be suitable for going out during the day (festivals, open-air events etc...). The best time to use it is on warm days (because the vanilla doesn't smell quite so wintery here, but rather more relaxed).

In short: The fragrance is quite nice, fragrant, and provides for a satisfied feeling! You could try it, if you like a loose, clean scent, even if this one should look like a scent without any great features despite the nice scent.

Bah, now I feel like cake again... like always after such scents... *sigh*

Soft and cuddly
Perfect Veil is a soft, cuddly, comforting and pleasant scent. It is slightly powdery and sweet, very gentle and reminds me of a clean and fluffy pure white cotton blanket.

The scent opens with a touch of lemon and musk. Then as it develops, the slight sweet and powdery notes of vanilla and musk come to the surface. The scent is light but it lasts for hours. The soft sandalwood scent in the base notes is very comforting.

This is a nice scent all around. Light and unobtrusive, it is definitely can be used in the situation when heavy scents are not acceptable. I find it to be a bit plain for my taste but I did enjoy wearing a sample.
