Typical Oud, Rose, Saffron Combo with great longevity! Blended well!
Wow, okay I own many 24 ScentStory fragrances, and Platinum Oud is definitely closest to an Arabian / middle eastern fragrance by far; out of my entire collection. This fragrance has the oud, rose, saffron combination, but it's really a light airy rose (not a dense rose or a sticky / jammy rose) and the rose isn't overbearing; and because of that, mixed with the musk there's a different quality to the rose accord. This fragrance is linear, and has decent projection and longevity. In the opening there is a sort of "wet dish rag" smell (not dirty dish rag; just a wet cloth smell); an undertone that does dissipate as this fragrance heads into the mid. Then the saffron and oud shine, along with the rest of the woods. I think this fragrance can be warn spring, fall and winter, for dress or casual. I give this a 8 / 10, and that's high because it's a unique play on a rose / oud fragrance. I enjoy this fragrance!
