P. Diddy & The Bad Boy Family presents: Mediocre Leisure Scent
Since the fragrance had only three reviews here so far and for a little more than 20€/100ml was to be had, I thought I'll try a blind buy and make myself an image. And well, as the headline and my rating suggests he has me unfortunately not just blown away.
Let's start with the presentation: The bottle is kept simple, which is nothing bad in itself. But he is just so incredibly boring. The thing has absolutely no charm, because you really wonder what the people in the design department have thought of it. For the price range, he is at least quite neatly processed, but that's it for me again.
The sillage is okay, but you get in my opinion unfortunately little of the entire fragrance composition with. For me, especially the sweet vanilla stands out more penetrating than I had expected in this dark bottle.
Really disappointed I was about the durability. Already after 3 hours I could hardly perceive the fragrance on my skin. On my clothes he held better, but also not outstanding.
After an arguably synthetic spicy opening, a sweet top note sets in. In my opinion, the mandarin comes out really pleasant in combination with the mint and pepper. Unfortunately, after a few minutes, the vanilla sneaks into the mix and stays with it until the end, which has me the thing a bit verdoreben. The just described interplay in the top note is brutally quickly disturbed by the early emerging vanilla and also covered quite promptly; and much more comes after that just not. What one is left with is a sweet mishmash that is nothing half and nothing whole. Too bad actually, because I really like the prelude and in my opinion has quite character. So it is unfortunately only enough for me to a mediocre and inconspicuous leisure or party fragrance.
