Unfortunately too soapy for me
"Scarlet Lily" welcomes me with a fierce soapiness without any floral loveliness, which hasn't happened to me before from lily and ylang-ylang. And also Lotus I have rather with slightly green notes in nose memory. This prelude makes it clear right from the start that it's not going to work out with the scarlet lily and me. Kindly, within 60-70 minutes, SL retreats so far onto the skin that I literally have to sniff it with my nose to still detect scent notes. And now there's a hint of the floral loveliness I missed at the beginning, which I now attribute to the amber, since it has no other discernible purpose for me. So, with only this hint of "Scarlet Lily" on the skin, it is then a clean feeling that lingers. And this hint is then surprisingly quite durable - up to 10 hours.
