A blast of masculinity
The late 1980s and early 90s we're going some changes that IMHO started the downside of Masculine fragrances thanks to Cool Water leading the way down the road to Aquatics. However there were still some powerhouse Masculine Fougeres and Chypres that were still being pumped out. One of them is the little known Woody/Earthy masterpiece called Maestro by Simon Chang. This one came out in 1991 and to me it's very much like Xeryus by Givenchy. At least that's what I think and the woody Earthy green notes lay on the skin for many hours with Sillage a mile long. The scent punches you in the gut reminding you you're still a man and that we're not dead. At least not yet!! A little known discontinued gem that needs to be discovered by the younger chaps in modern perfumerie. I'm very thankful to Scents of South Jersey for bringing this heavy masculine and quite powerful fragrance to my attention. It fits very nicely in my collection. :)
