Bulky orange / tangerine cotton candy
Pacific Park kicks off in full force with a really sweet, almost cotton candy smelling blast. In addition, there is a strong shot of orange / tangerine freshness. Initially, this already makes an impression.

But, honestly, after 'ner while, the scent goes to one pretty in the nose. Nevertheless, I must admit that he has brought me 'ne lot of compliments. For me, this is definitely a summer fragrance, even if he is so sticky sweet. Also, both women and men can wear this, but it leans more towards feminine than masculine."

A day at the park.
First off i have to say that this is sold as a unisex fragrance but as a man i personally wouldn't wear this and i do wear sweet fragrances that many years ago most people would have said leaned more female that are now sold as male fragrances and i enjoy them. Heck i would wear Burberry Her Elixir which is sold as a woman's fragrance but Pacific Park definitely goes over the line of being unisex to becoming a female orientated fragrance.

I do like the scent a lot and would love smelling this on a girl. Though not listed on here there is cotton candy or candied fruits listed as one of the notes and i love it but i think it's the Lily of the valley that is giving this feminine floral feel to it that makes it unwearable for most men.

I can mainly smell the cotton candy, pear, Lily of the valley, vanilla and white musk. This really is a feminine smell to me.

Projection has been good for me from this EDP Intense so far. I can smell it radiating off my wrist as i sit and write this review and when i bring my wrist up to my nose to smell it, boy is it strong! Where the problem lies though is longevity. I have only had it on for less than an hour and i can tell it is starting to wear off already.

In the dry down i am mainly smelling the vanilla and floral smell

If it weren't for the strong florals mixed with the white musk i would maybe consider buying this for myself otherwise if i were in a relationship i would gladly buy this for a girlfriend or wife as i would love to smell this on them. The only problem is they would need to keep spraying it on themselves which is a shame. For an EDP Intense i would expect a much better performance in longevity than what i got. I will say it does try to fight to come back here and there but it is a skin scent after that first hour.

I have to make an edit here: After this became a skin scent for a while it has came back in force. The notes except for vanilla are not typically notes i go nose blind to so i am not sure what's happening here as i have experienced similar occurrences with other fragrances where they vanish and when asking other people around me if they could smell it they also could not and suddenly it would come back all of a sudden out of nowhere. EROS Flame comes to mind. It could be that this is a sample and their atomisers are terrible at creating a proper mist and instead come out in droplets mixed with a little mist.

OK, so it has been 5hrs since initial spray and i am still smelling this. Sure it's not as strong as the 1st hour but when it did come back all the notes i smelled in the first hour came back with a punch! With more sprays on more areas of the body other than one wrist i think this would actually perform very well. You can also wear on clothes if you wish to boost! I believe the problem with it vanishing for a bit is due to the sample bottle atomiser. I have had this issue numerous times with the likes of Dior Sauvage Elixir and Azzaro's The Most Wanted Parfum where the sample performance was awful compared to the actual performance when using the bottles proper atomiser. I give anything that lasts more than 5hrs an above average rating and we are past that now. Sure it's not projecting like the 1st and 2nd hour when it came back but it's still there a couple inches off of the skin and is definitely becoming a skin scent as time goes on.

I can't rate the bottle or atomiser due to the above statement that this is a sample.

Final Scores including above edits.

Scent: On a girl 8/10
Projection 9/10 for 1 - 2 hours a 6/10 thereafter.
Longevity: 7/10 disappeared for a bit but came back kicking for another hour then began to settle towards a skin scent after 5hrs
Value for money: 6.5/10

Starts off as fruity buble gum. A very sweet but not cloying scent with some freshness to it. A smell of happy childhood. Not a unisex IMHO.
