Autumn forests rustle like rain
When summer leaves, they would stand on the cliffs. They said so. I could see the fire from afar. The forest is probably too thick, the time too late. Step by step the leaves rustle softly under my feet, the leaves move, freeing the ground, painting a path of mushrooms and rainy earth. Soothingly the Petrichor crackles, mixes with the hissing of the spray, not far away probably already the rocks, the sea. Quietly I listen to the scent of fire, the embers and the fine threads of smoke, between all the ethereal conifers, whose needles mist up everything brightly, but loosing misty dead leaves, giving me strange riddles.
Does the sea possibly wash the moss on the beach, does the seaweed grow from the damp trees, does it wipe away confusingly soft images along the cliffs where the fire is only smouldering? And as birches gently tar the contours, the waves give birth to amber, in fire, leaves and conifers, I see clearly and breathe autumn. Bedded on mushroomy earth, I cover myself with the leaves, rub against the mosses, listen to the thunderstorms of roses.
**
For me, "Cliffside Bonfire" is one of the most authentic representatives of a humid forest floor, whereby it clearly misses the theme of the rock fire at the sea, but captures the autumn almost perfectly in Cinemascope, and that without any Technicolor. The oil can be perceived for about five to six hours at most, mostly at close range.
Solstice Scents from Gainesville, Florida produce their EdPs and oils in small runs, some seasonal and some rotary. They are therefore subject to slight fluctuations and are only available at certain times, which can be taken from the homepage.
