Dry, tart impressions paired with a certain sweetness
Sand Dance is a very special fragrance. It gives the impression of relatively dry desert air paired with sweet smells that occasionally rise to the nose.
One perfumer mentioned or drew certain comparisons to one or two other fragrances from Tauer and yes, I can certainly understand that.
The fragrances don't smell the same at all, but they do convey similar impressions.
However, the Sand Dance goes a tick more in a slightly sweet direction later on.
We get a rather tart fragrance here, especially at the beginning.
A tart, dry cocoa paired with a great whiskey note. There is also a very gentle mandarin and over time it becomes a little sweeter when the tonka bean and resinous elements kick in.
A beautiful sandalwood note can also be detected.
All in all, it is "desert-like", slightly spicy and sweet, as well as pleasantly woody.
What I find interesting is that the more often I applied the fragrance, the sweeter I found it each time For whatever reason.
Nevertheless, it's not a real gourmand for me! It just has this slightly dry quality to it that makes it special.
