Just John
John Wick has quit. Actually. He has achieved what many considered impossible. To make it´s peace with the underground and it´s crimes. And staying alive (by doing this). He just wanted to retire. Made a deal. And he kept his commitement. But paths crossed. Fate took over. And John returned. "Baba Yaga," the boogeyman, returned. Not just once.
A man who has lost everything he loved, has nothing left to lose.
This scent is his portrait.
Prin created this fragrance for Oxana Polyakovaals, as an exclusive Strangers scent for her Blooms Perfumery in London, where the entire Strangers collection is now available. She's a big fan of John Wick. And got a masterpiece from Prin.
A Cologne note with beautiful, unobtrusive lavender, some rose and dosed wood runs through the composition as the main theme. It's the scent of a well-groomed man. Understatement, without even exaggerating in nuances.
Just Style.
Like the smell of standing next to John in the elevator.
And then there are these other notes that create a special, mysterious aura. The metallic smell of weapons and bullets, pistol smoke in the fibers of the suit, the dust of the road or dry soil. And especially this great hay note, which describes the scent of skin kissed by the sun. Sensual. A part of the freedom John desires so much. A sign of peace.
"Well, John wasn't exactly the boogeyman. He was the one you sent to kill the f**ing boogeyman!" is a quote from the film.
He's the archetype of the modern antihero.
Prin poured that DNA into a scent.
