Above all treetops is peace
It's dawn already, but the forest is calling me.
Invitingly, the trees stretch out their branches for me.
Seductive spicy brushes my nose - and I run after my feet.
I don't want to be afraid - I want to be brave.
The forest exhales woodsy - mixed with sweet vanilla of wild plants.
It is quiet in the forest cathedral - I quietly dialogue with my thoughts - hoping for a response.
Suddenly it is dark - and there it is again - the fear.
Where am I? I have lost myself.
Fearfully, I look around - straight into a pair of golden eyes watching me from the bushes.
Blue looks into yellow - yellow looks into blue.
We study each other.
I feel recognized, for the being in the shadows knows my fears.
I don't have to hide them, don't have to pretend - and the panic subsides.
The gray shadow being tells me to follow him.
I am under its influence.
Trust directs my step - and soon I'm back on the forest path I know.
At home, the husband calls me from the kitchen: Imagine, Gerd thinks to have seen a wolf!
What do you say to that?
