The gentle desert wind
While it is still a very likeable fragrance, it has probably been hyped as an innovative western creation of a deep oriental fragrance when it was launched back in 2005. YSL M7 was launched only three years before.
The very pleasant coriander opening is only second for the very alluring balsamic and amber ambiance created by magnificent notes of Cistus/Labdanum and Ambergris.
The performance is quite high despite being a smooth perfume.
If this perfume would be cheaper it could be a smashing hit in any designer house.
It's a very nice perfume to have, but not really indispensable any longer. Currently I prefer to wear its related Tauer scent "Au Coeur du Désert".
