L'Air du Désert Marocain
This fragrance opens with an intense orange note that is sweetened by vanilla and boosted by lavender. Underneath these sweet and bright notes I smell a dry, husky base of spices and birch tar which have a counterbalancing effect on the dominant orange note cluster. As the fragrance progresses a bright and powerful floral note emerges from what is left of the orange note and the vanilla reveals its true amber-y nature. The base of the fragrance is now unmistakably wood-y, with a few flecks of spices. The dry down is the typical sweetish Tauerade.
