Lapidus: Not lapidary!
I will try to describe this fragrance as factually as possible, but usually it's then but with me through.
Creation is the Chypre for all Ichtraumichnichtaberichwürdejagernes or what are people supposed to say about it, if I suddenly Chypre wear!
So get to the boulettes, here it is! (It does go through with me. What am I sly again.)
The unlapidare Lapidus is not a Donnerchypre a la 1980iger, but a fine, well-composed fragrance with character and clear Sillage.
He surrounds you with the statement: I am now grown up and out of the sweetkramaera of my perfume career.
Creation does not start with the violent cologneflash, which you can expect with classic chypres. Pomeranza fruit (neroli) smells floral and aromatic, but I'm thinking more orange blossom here. And it delivers! But you do not tilt already at the top note from the Latschen.
Later, the scent turns up and Iris whips in a dusty dry powderiness. She always does, the minx. Tuberoses and roses keep to the background. Did you know there are over 300 different rose scents? No, roses don't all smell the same. And if someone tells you: "I can clearly smell the roses" you can ask him "Yes, which one?" By the way, Florblanca is the rose expert here, you are welcome to ask her.
Creation will be more elegant. He picks you up and says, "I'm a chypre, but I won't bludgeon you." It gets deep and earthy. Musk sometimes intrudes a bit, but that just rounds out the lapidus.
