Of the rain that flies over the land
Dark purple violet meadows, earthy, in the light undergrowth. The heavy rain shower just passed over it. A few last single drops still in the air, but the sun is already poking through the clouds. Heating up strong and fast, and forcing the next thundershower. Steam rises quickly from the sodden earth, enriched with the strong spice of violets. Next door, a lushly blooming ground cover rose goes wild, rain dripping its sweet scent to the strong sun. All this plays out, in constant hourly alternation, between thundershower and hot sun, on this thundery midsummer day.
Rainbird is my second Teone Reinthal fragrance. This one is also captivating in its absolute naturalness. Here the main focus is on heavy violet, rain-soaked earth, and sweet rose. Sandalwood is not consciously noticeable to me, but probably gently embeds the components, and make it round. The scent is again very strong and incredibly long lasting for a natural perfume. It's unisex, and wearable in all seasons in my opinion. Again, these are idiosyncratic creations that have nothing in common even with the often encountered "mainstream smelling" in my eyes. This is an absolutely natural fragrance - beautiful, strong and extraordinary, without any craving for vanity.
