Indescribable Indian diamond
Patiala, the royal city is known for the necklace of the Maharaja of Patiala, set with 2930 diamonds.
Like its name, the fragrance is noble and rich. It radiates warmth and elegance.
At the beginning you get a light and subtle citric, no lemon pie for me. I also slightly perceive the listed geranium. The aldehydes keep the fragrance clean and pure.
The rose remains almost hidden from me, only in the background does it make the fragrance seem noble. Amber and orange blossom give the fragrance a delicate floral sweetness, while patchouli and moss ground Patiala and add spice. Overall, all the fragrance notes are perfectly combined, so I don't really smell them individually.
Patiala is something special because no other fragrance smells like it.
For me, it has vibes of a classy, creamy bath foam from the 80s.
For me, the fragrance is absolutely unisex. My husband finds it masculine, but tends to prefer vanilla, gourmand scents himself. So again, there are very different perceptions.
The sillage is apparently quite good at first, I was told.
The longevity is good average.
After an initial test in a perfumery in Salzburg, I bought the fragrance as a 10ml travel size. It was the right choice for me, as I probably won't wear it every day, even though I like it.
