Good summer scent in a big robe
Admittedly, the bottle is beautiful. The name of the fragrance promises energetic refreshment in a cheerful mood. I like the brand - not only because "The Merchant of Venice" was my first play in the theatre. What about the scent?

The bottom line for me is a pleasant refreshing scent for the summer or for the desk drawer to bridge mental saga. The mandarins, or rather oranges for my nose, do what you expect, refresh them, invigorate them, remind you of vitamin cocktails and awaken the spirits of life. That's all that's happening. That's not a bad thing. On the contrary, But the fragrance was mercilessly overdressed by the brand launched on the market. For me, the performance promises a more sophisticated fragrance, a mood that perhaps even allows the opulence of the beautiful costumes at the Venice Carnival to emerge in the mind's eye. There's still a lot of air up there.

I do not belong to the group that prefers perfumes in purist flacons à la Chanel. But fragrance, appearance, bottle, advertising etc. should form a unit. That didn't work out here and probably didn't even want to, because I have the feeling that the brand is more interested in the bottle with its Murano story than the content, at least for this fragrance. In addition, the perfume is called unisex, but I can't imagine a man feeling comfortable when he pulls this bottle with the funny tassel out of his briefcase during lunch break to refresh himself.

A fragrance like Mandarin Carnival is probably in many of their collections. But if I need it again, I'll go to Concentré d'Orange Verte by Hermès, because everything I find fault with Mandarin Carnival is right for me.
