Summery South Seas scent - passion fruit I eat somewhere else
Passion Fruit is one of no less than 41 fragrances from the "Museum Collection". In addition, various are also available in different concentrations: EdT and EdP Concentrée. That makes sniffing around not easy. Since I love to eat Passion Fruit (in German Maracuja/Passionsfrucht), I tried it with this fragrance.

All of the Museum Series perfumes are monothematic scents: they smell exclusively like what's on the package. At least, that's how it should be. In this case: passion fruit. There's a reason for that, too. It was only after the fact that I found out that the Museum Collection scents were also meant to be layered. The inscription on the packaging "Layer Your Fragrance" makes this clear. I am not a fan of layering at all: have never done so and probably won't. I love to enjoy the solo scent.

Passion Fruit opens with a sweet floral note. My money is on the hawthorn, which smells strongly floral, a few seconds also ashy. In the background, the green apple is supposed to bring some freshness to the scent, but doesn't quite manage it. The scent remains more floral than fruity (I would have expected more fruit content). Passion fruit, at least, doesn't taste as floral. However, the South Seas feel of this South Seas fruit is clear. Maracuja or not, it is a summery feel-good fragrance: sensual, sweetly seductive, airier and lighter than other tropical fragrances.

The fragrance is limited unisex, with a stronger tendency to the feminine. Note on the picture-perfect bottle: he kat no cap but a kind of stopper that prevents the sprayer from being pressed down.
