Warm, spicy, soft
To study the fragrances, my perfume friend recommended the test set of "Accordi di Profumo" by The Merchant of Venice. This was an excellent tip with eight citrusy, floral and woody scents that give a good impression of the fragrance notes.
Brand new for me is Accordi di Profumo - Zafferano Iran . Zafferano is saffron and my still uneducated perfume mind tells me that it would be too complex to make perfume from delicate saffron threads and therefore a composition must be created that approximates the fragrance. In addition to honey. Leather and tobacco, woody and spicy notes are indicated.
Following the concept, the fragrance appears as a unit with a deep and spicy warmth and a slightly bitter note. I am lying on a wooden bench on a roof terrace somewhere in the Iranian countryside, gazing up at the evening sky and letting the warmth of the day's stone and wood reflect on me. A warm, honey-sweetened tea drink unfolds its fragrance right next to me. I take it in deeply. Downstairs, a rice dish with saffron is being prepared. It is October, the day before we collected the purple flowers early in the morning and then cut off the orange stamens. My fingers are dyed a deep orange and I rub them over my face to continue inhaling the tart, bitter scent. The brown-orange warmth of the color, the food and the chai envelop me just like the warmth of the terrace and the orange evening sky. They nourish me, bed me in beauty and I relax from work.
