How old this song of the Moody Blues is can be seen by the fact that letters were still written at that time:
Whether they were sent or ended up in the trash.
Who still writes letters today?
A loving farewell e-mail is sometimes worth to be kept in the cloud.
Maybe this is too nostalgic an approach, but I think it's a shame.
I always liked writing letters; do it now and then!
But I have to contradict my comment title myself:
White satin is not exactly the first impression I get when I get to know "Night" by The White Company.
Highest as a noble nightgown made of silk satin, which encloses the body flatteringly and sinfully.
At first "Night" reminds us of a soft nothing, perhaps made of down or down feathers, in which we can sink; felt into eternity - so "never reaching the end"!
But for me no pure fragrance is recognizable: vanilla woven through with golden brown patchouli caresses me, where every now and then fruity moments of pomegranate or bitter black currant flash up: small flashing facets populate the fragrance fabric.
So absolutely no scent for powdery noses!
The powder puff remains here in the drawer and the creamy white vanilla flows around sluggishly and sensually, like a noble rich body lotion; it wraps me in tenderness!
This fragrant night promises no more than it can deliver; a long loving embrace which can sometimes last into the early hours of the morning.
It remains a tender, very quiet breath of well-being - networked with dreams and longings.
The few drops of "Night" that remain from the bottling I will treat carefully:
maybe they can lure out more "white" dreams?
Dark night hours are too familiar to me, so I thank Heikeso especially for this sample of a magical dream fragrance
