Vele, the sail, is green and creamy. Very green-creamy and for me cloud-fluffy tropical.
The fig is more beautiful than I have ever experienced in a fragrance. And that despite the fact that I'm always a coward when it comes to figs.

Green leaves that have gently wrapped up these white floral oomphs like jasmine and hyacinth so that they don't burst all the nasal synapses. Musk like a light scarf that protects the neck from the summer wind and still lets a hint of the warm air through. A splash of rose mango with spiked vanilla pearls, for a dancing sensation in the nose.

A fragrance that doesn't really fit into my style but which I have grown to love. A sail in the wind heading for tropical climes. I don't find it fruity at all, although it is supposed to contain beautiful "fruit". I only get compliments when I wear it and it's just a dream, even though it's so green and creamy. I've often worn it in summer, but now in the cold season it's an even bigger dream!

Be patient

Blind spontaneous buy turned to be worth every penny. I am obsessed about fresh ripe figs but never was a fan of figs` smell in perfume. Just be patient, guys, only a couple of minutes and this sharp and naturalistic smell of fig leaves and fruit developed into a smooth tropical paradise with distinctive notes of coconut and green mango. The fragrance settles down, becomes more and more creamy, not sweet at all, vanilla starts its part, making you feeling happy and relaxed und puts you in a holiday mood.
The scent is just an amazing experience of discovery new destinations.
Never was crazy about Terenzi, but this one made me reconsider. Now I want to try more.
It was a lucky move, that blind buy, well done, good girl.

The tropical fig

This morning my bottle of Tiziana Terenzi Vele arrived. It was a typical blind buy, which was also due to the fact that there were no bottlings offered in the souk. It took two weeks for this blind buy to come to fruition. Vele ended up in the shopping cart and was removed again. The whole thing went on for a good 10 times until I finally ordered Vele. The reason for this strange behavior is due to the fig. Philosykos unfortunately managed to make the fig a nightmare for me. Philosykos is one of the worst fragrances I have tested so far. That's why the decision for this blind buy was so hard for me.

Vele opens with a strong fig note, which definitely bears resemblance to Philosykos, but that's about it for the resemblance. After about 5-10 minutes, the dominant fig note disappears and the fruits are allowed out of their cage. It really smells like a tropical rainforest now. I can here only mango, vanilla passion fruit, musk and some amber recognize the other notes unfortunately not, these integrate very harmoniously into the overall picture, this is probably also the reason that these are not noticeable. A further reason is but certainly also the use of rather unusual notes.

Vele is in my eyes something quite different than Philosykos. I think the classification of similarity is due to the fact that I have taken some too little time for a test, or fig always associated with Philosykos.

Vele is in no way a pure fig fragrance, Vele is much more. Vele embodies for me a tropical symbol, here I feel immediately teleported to foreign countries, in which it smells completely different. This being different makes Vele for me special and confirms me that the blind buy has been the right decision.

Vele is absolutely unisex. Vele is an unusual unisex fragrance, which also quite clearly separates from the typical Terenzi DNA. Here everyone can access without hesitation, without fear of having to have a kind of kirk.

Now I would like to explain briefly for whom Vele could be interesting: Vele is perfect for those Fico di Amalfi, Balade Sauvage, Eden Roc, Figuier Eden is too boring, or the fig is permanently too present, or looking for something special.

The quality of the varnish of the flacon could be better, who drives here a little ungently over the varnish with the nails sees scratches immediately, also the surface could be more finely lacquered.

The partly very negative statements I can not really understand, perhaps the fragrance was tested here with false expectations, or something else hoped for. In my opinion, it is really necessary to get involved with Vele and also forget other fig fragrances. Very important is also still who is really looking for a fig fragrance will not be happy with Vele, because that's Vele simply not.

Vele is simply summer for me and vacation in the bottle. Vele also knows how to convince with very good performance. The shelf life is at really 9-10 hours. The Silage is enormous in the first hours and can fill entire rooms. After something 5-6 hours, the silage goes back to an arm's length.

Now but enough raved for Vele, I will now enjoy this great fragrance even further and continue to smell my shirt collar. My fellow men will probably already wonder what is wrong with me.
