Crowd Pleaser
A faintly floral, fruity musk stated as gender neutral. I personally find that it leans feminine, but to each their own. At the end of it all, it's about the notes you prefer. Niche, but so familiar as it gives mainstream vibes. If you're looking for something in this scent group that is easy to wear, that works in your favor. However, if you're looking for something groundbreaking this is not it. I imagine this being a crowd pleaser, as it is pleasant, not at all offensive and full bodied with great projection and staying power. All top notes are very prominent, especially the cassis; and the raspberry is far from shy. Between the fruit and vanilla, Halley dries down to candied, floral musk but not in your celebrity perfume fashion. Tiziana Terenzi keeps it classy. After an hour of wear, the foundation of wood notes begin to pierce through. Halley is a great stepping stone into this brand or the niche realm in general.

Breaking a lance...
Halley I bought blind as a bottle, because I have always made very positive experiences with Tiziana Terenzi perfumes. The tension on my new blind buy was of course incredibly high again, was it the right decision, or not?

Halley is my first Terenzi from the so-called Comet collection. The prices are of course deterrent and I also had to think longer.

When I got my bottle delivered this morning, I was first shocked at the OVP. It is really an OVP, which puts some luxury watches in the shade. This huge box with red velvet wrapped, immediately gives the impression, your money you have well invested.

Now but long enough around the bush talked it is now time to talk about the fragrance itself.
Halley opens with the fruit DNA known from some Tiziana Terenzi. I think here already divide the spirits. Some love this fruit DNA the others hate it. I find this fruit DNA just great. I see in Halley a perfect further development of this fruit DNA. Here, the DNA known from Kirkè was clearly developed further and made more adult and some fruit was removed. I can already see a similarity to Tabit, but I think Halley doesn't have that beach feeling, which makes Halley much more flexible than Tabit. Halley smells like passion fruit, currants, raspberry, peach, hibiscus, lemon and petigrain in the top and heart notes. I don't smell all the flowers, but that doesn't bother me. I'm not a big flower lover in perfumes anyway. The oud which makes an appearance from the heart note onwards gives Halley an adult character and also prevents Halley from falling into that musky, vanilla hole that Kirkè has and spoiled a 10 rating for me. Halley is more subtle than comparable scents and again more unisex because of the oud. The oud makes Halley perfect for me.

A similarity to Xerjoff Erba Pura I also do not really see, because Erba Pura is rather fresh, fruity and sweet.

Halley I would describe as follows: Fruity, sweet and slightly oriental through the oud.

The bad reviews I can somehow not understand. Maybe some had wrong expectations here. Tiziana Terenzi is just mostly fruity and a little overdone. I am here of the opinion that Terenzi is simply a brand, which will always divide the minds. Some love this fancy and loud, others like more classic perfumes like from Guerlain, Dior etc.. Tiziana Terenzi is simply a brand like no other unconventional perfumes, often with very unusual notes creates and here also serves a niche.

But I somehow do not understand how some can smell flowers here. I smell here simply fruits, but hardly flowers.

Halley really is like a vacation from a bottle. I spray it on and I'm far away from my four walls. Somewhere on a tropical beach, but thankfully a beach without a nasty pina colada smell. Halley really does feel like a vacation to me.

The longevity is really in a very good range. I can smell Halley for over 14 hours and for 5-6 hours the silage is really strong. For over 3 sprays, the whole room smells like Halley. After about 11 hours, Halley starts to get skin deep.

I think Halley is worth its price, but fortunately there is the possibility to save again here and at prices below 250€ Halley is definitely a very good buy. The price below the circa 350€ RRP have made my decision to buy again much easier.
