First time with this house
I bought this fragrance on a wim. It was at my local department store at a great discount (I wouldn't pay the normal 148 dollar price tag, but for the price it was at I couldn't help but to blind buy it.)

To get this out of the way, let's start with packaging. The design idea is clean, but executed fairly poorly. It comes in a slide to open (the top slides off) faux leather crock embossed print box. There is nothing to secure the bottle inside such as cutouts or padding so it moves around quite a bit. The cap is thin and doesn't secure into place. The front of the box has the name of the house and the logo of the fragrance while the back has the name of the scent, size, concentration,
website and a classification (which i like. In this case. Citrus). There is also a quote on the back, in this case from The Dutchess of Ferrara from 1517. The bottle shape is pleasant and square and is what I typically expect from small boutique perfumes, but the glass quality isn't great and the label on the back of my bottle is slightly left of center. The small bottom sticker has air bubbles as well. There is no ingredient list anywhere (which disturbs me to no end because allergy issues have come up in the past. The bottom sticker denotes website. Size and concentration again. Along with the fragrance name and classification. Front sticker is just the fragrance logo and name of the house. While the back label has a not breakdown.

Now, to what actually matters.

Opens very bright with a nice green/citrus combination. The lime is very dominant and supported by bergamot. It pushes out fairly far and it gets picked up by the air well so it left a nice trail. It is edt concentration. Definitely a spring / summer scent. I wouldn't try and wear it in the cooler months because I don't see it cutting through the cold.

The initial smell is reminiscent of key lime pie to me, but after a few moments its citrus heavy with a nice moss base. It reminds me of a combination of Banana Republic vintage green with a sweeter lime ladden Commodity bergamot (commodity bergamot is more of a bitter citrus compared to this) layered on top. Very pleasant. It does smell of good quality and it doesn't have the overly synthetic or alcoholic beginning that many citrus based scents seems to have at the start. After about 20 minutes the tea note is present, but more of a background player, very nuanced. It is complimented by florals that help to round out the scent and add a little depth to what could have been a very sharp scent. The pear is one of the last things I get, but don't detect the raspberry note at all. This is one of the most authentic limes I've smelled in a perfume in quite some time. The floral aren't overpowering, but are loud enough that they can be detected as opposed to being muddled together. With that, the profile comes out in layers like cascading, gentle waves as opposed to a large crashing tsunami. I think it would have benefitted from a touch of Tonka and if a little spice was added, it could be more masculine.

Leans maybe a little feminine, but men shouldn't be afraid to try it. Perfect for a daytime scent.

Update:

Since trying a few more of their offerings, I've come to a conclusion. They consider themselves a niche brand from all the description and media I've seen, but I think they fit more comfortably in the designer category. They seem to be fragrances that are not made to be art or bold statement pieces, but rather commercial, easy to wear compliment getters.
