Enchanted earth nymph vibes - heartbreakingly weak
This perfume actually makes me so sad because the scent itself is BEAUTIFUL, but the performance is horrifically bad!!!
Colette is my favorite from the house of TOCCA. It’s a unique smelling scent, with woody, citrusy, slightly powdery scent with a vanilla/ambery base. It’s a very intoxicating scent that men and women love when they get close to you, but from arms length away, the scent is barely detectable (unless you overspray the hell out of it). It’s a scent that reminds me of nature and that the girls that like to be one with the forest would wear. It’s a scent of an earth nymph. It’s surprisingly sexy and I think that’s because of the addition of the juniper berry note, which is commonly found in men’s frags and give perfumes a gin & tonic vibe. It’s absolutely stunning.
I think this scent is appropriate in all season for daytime use. It’s definitely not heavy or strong enough for night time and could use some sun and breeze to perform at its best. I have a bottle I’m thinking of decluttering just because of the terrible performance. It’s a shame because the bottle is beautiful and the scent is even more beautiful, but TOCCA definitely needs to work on their performance.
